Virgin Voyages presents the revamped Valiant Lady, featuring a new Indian restaurant, over 20 new activities and redesigned spaces ahead of its season in Europe and the Caribbean.
Virgin Voyages has announced the completion of the renovation of its Valiant Lady ship, the second ship in the company's fleet, after a scheduled technical stop in dry dock that has served to incorporate new gastronomic offerings, redesign public spaces and enhance the onboard entertainment experience.
The revamped Valiant Lady now begins its summer season in Europe with itineraries in Italy, the French Riviera and Ibiza, before moving in the fall to San Juan, Puerto Rico to operate Caribbean cruises until April 2027.
Among the highlights is the opening of Ariya by Razzle Dazzle, a new Indian-inspired restaurant developed in collaboration with Indie Culinaire and renowned chef Maneet Chauhan. The 220-seat space offers a culinary journey through different regions of India, featuring specialties such as Lamb Shank Biryani, Puffed Rice, and Avocado Chaat, accompanied by a cocktail menu inspired by the same flavors and traditions.
The food and beverage options are also expanding at Grounds Club Too, which now includes Intelligentsia coffee throughout the day and transforms into a bar in the evening, while On the Rocks improves its design with a new stage location, more seating, and better visibility for live shows.
The improvements also extend to various exterior and interior areas of the ship. The Athletic Club features new shaded Balinese beds and sea-facing lounge areas, while The Roundabout has been refurbished with new furnishings and Virgin Voyages' signature plum-hued aesthetic. The Manor, one of the ship's most popular nightlife venues, expands its dance floor after the removal of raised platforms, and The Dock enhances outdoor performances with a new stage configuration and wind protection.
One of the highlights of this renovation is the addition of more than 20 new and exclusive experiences and activities, known as Happenings, designed to offer innovative offerings throughout the day. From interactive contests and participatory shows to themed culinary events, creative workshops, wellness activities, and new nighttime social experiences, the program aims to reinforce the brand's distinctive character and offer a more dynamic and personalized experience.
The renovation also includes new features in the onboard commercial offering, with the addition of the TAG and Pandora brands and the expansion of the space dedicated to official Virgin Voyages products.
According to Nirmal Saverimuttu, CEO of Virgin Voyages, the goal of this transformation was to further enhance the experience of one of the fleet's highest-rated ships. In addition, the more than 1,300 crew members have completed a cultural training program called "The Virgin Way," designed to strengthen service and connection with passengers.
With these improvements, Virgin Voyages reinforces its commitment to a premium experience focused on gastronomy, innovative entertainment and contemporary design, consolidating the Valiant Lady as one of the most attractive ships in the segment for the upcoming seasons in Europe and the Caribbean.
