Marella Cruises expands its Caribbean offerings with 70 new excursions for winter 2026

Marella Cruises will add 70 new excursions to its Caribbean program during the 2026 winter season. The offering includes adventure activities, cultural experiences, and tours of some of the region's most iconic landscapes, with the goal of providing passengers with new ways to discover the ports of call.

Marella Cruises expands its Caribbean offerings with 70 new excursions for winter 2026Among the new offerings are experiences as diverse as zip-lining over the landscape of Saint Martin, touring Bonaire aboard a land vehicle powered by the wind, or participating in a steelpan class, the traditional percussion instrument of Trinidad and Tobago.

The offering also includes activities in Puerto Rico and St. Kitts and Nevis, with options designed for different types of travelers. From active excursions in the heart of nature to visits to learn about local culture and traditions, the company is thus expanding the alternatives available during its ships' port calls.

In St. Maarten, one of the highlights will be the Flying Dutchman zip line, considered one of the steepest in the world. In Bonaire, passengers can try out land yachts, lightweight vehicles that harness wind power to travel across land. Meanwhile, in Tobago, new activities will introduce visitors to the steelpan, a musical instrument characteristic of the Caribbean and an integral part of the region's cultural identity.

The program also includes excursions that allow visitors to learn more about the islands' natural environment and get closer to their communities, combining outdoor activities with cultural offerings.

With these 70 additions, Marella Cruises expands the possibilities of discovering the Caribbean during the winter season and reinforces the experiential component of its itineraries, offering passengers more options to make the most of their time in each port of call.
