Oceania Cruises presents two World Cruises aboard the Oceania Aurelia

Oceania Cruises has unveiled the inaugural voyages of the Oceania Aurelia, scheduled to debut in late 2027, including the launch of two epic 180-day Around the World voyages for 2028 and 2029, as well as two Grand Voyages of more than 70 days each.

Oceania Cruises presents two World Cruises aboard the Oceania AureliaAvailable now for online preview and with bookings opening on May 13, 2026, this is the first time Oceania Cruises has simultaneously launched two round-the-world cruises.

Jason Montague stated: “We are thrilled to welcome Oceania Aurelia, The Ultimate Explorer, to our fleet next year. Designed specifically for grand voyages around the world, launching two Around the World itineraries and spectacular Grand Voyages simultaneously marks a true milestone for us. These incredible journeys will appeal to discerning travelers who want to explore the world in style and comfort, enjoying more time ashore and discovering both iconic destinations and hidden gems in depth.”

The Oceania Aurelia will be the ideal home at sea for extended and immersive voyages, where tranquil days at sea give way to vibrant cities, hidden gems, and diverse cultures brimming with history and personality. Accommodating fewer than 500 guests served by 400 officers and crew, it will offer an intimate, residential atmosphere, with thoughtfully designed spaces to foster relaxation and connection while sailing around the world.

Among the many attractions of both Round the World trips are several overnight stops that will allow you to enjoy more time on land and a deeper exploration of destinations such as Papeete, Bora Bora, Sydney, Bali, Tokyo, Singapore, Mumbai, Seville and Bordeaux.

In addition, select Mid Cruise Overland programs will allow travelers to venture beyond the coast and discover wonders such as Machu Picchu in Peru, the ancient city of Petra in Jordan, and the majestic Taj Mahal in India. Throughout each circumnavigation, passengers will have access to nearly 100 UNESCO World Heritage sites.

Guests participating in the 2028 Round the World voyage will also enjoy a special experience, as they will be invited to attend the official christening ceremony of the Oceania Aurelia in Miami in January 2028, before it sets sail on its first major global journey.

Alongside these two 180-day odysseys, the Oceania Aurelia will also operate two Grand Voyages of more than 70 days: one through the Nordic and Baltic seas and another through America, connecting the Caribbean, South America and the Pacific.

Next comes an exploration of Australia, including an overnight stay in Sydney. The itinerary then moves through Southeast Asia, visiting Indonesia, the Philippines, Vietnam, and Thailand, plus nearly two weeks cruising the coast of Japan. Sailing west, the journey will uncover the cultural riches of India and the Arabian Peninsula before dedicating almost three weeks to the Mediterranean, exploring destinations in Greece, Italy, the French Riviera, Spain, and Portugal.
