Iberia 's new VIP lounge , located in Terminal 4 of Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas Airport, offers 800 square meters dedicated to relaxation, Spanish cuisine, and personalized service.

Iberia reinforces its commitment to the premium segment with the opening of the Emerald Lounge Sorolla, its new VIP lounge in Terminal 4 of the Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas airport, conceived as the airline's most exclusive space on the ground.
The new lounge is reserved for customers in the highest categories of Iberia's loyalty program —Platinum, Platinum Prime, Infinita, Infinita Prime and Singular— who travel to short and medium-haul destinations from boarding gates H, J, K and M.
Located immediately after security, the lounge occupies 800 square meters and has a capacity for 128 passengers. Beyond simply offering a place to wait for your flight, Iberia has designed the space as a comprehensive experience centered around four concepts: quality, personalized service, Spanish cuisine, and well-being.
From the moment they arrive, passengers receive personalized attention from the lounge team, with a welcome service and reception designed to offer a friendly and proactive experience.
Well-being also plays a key role in the offering. The Emerald Lounge Sorolla features suite-style relaxation cabins, as well as showers and a variety of comfort and cosmetic amenities, designed especially for travelers who need to relax or refresh themselves before continuing their journey.
The interior design further reinforces the Spanish character of the project. All the furniture has been designed by Spanish firms, with particular emphasis on the work of Patricia Urquiola, recipient of the 2025 National Design Award.
Gastronomy is another key feature of the new lounge, with a menu that highlights products and flavors associated with Spanish cuisine. During breakfast, passengers can find homemade pastries, a variety of breads, freshly prepared hot dishes, smoothies and yogurts, as well as vegan options.
Throughout the day, the menu adapts to different times of day, with dishes inspired by the Mediterranean diet, including vegetable, meat, and fish options. Spanish tapas and Iberian products also feature prominently, along with a selection of pastries and homemade desserts.
Traditional recipes include options like crema catalana, almond tart and rice pudding, while the Madrid character of the room is reflected even in its Candy Bar, where the traditional Madrid violets are not missing.
The dining experience is completed with a 360-degree circular bar, where a professional bartender prepares cocktails and serves a selection of wines, champagne, spirits, and premium appetizers. Passengers also have access to barista service, with a variety of coffee preparations.
With the Emerald Lounge Sorolla, Iberia expands its offering aimed at its most exclusive customers and transforms the pre-boarding time into an extension of the travel experience itself, combining privacy, relaxation, gastronomy and personalized attention in one of the main airports in its network.
