Royal Caribbean's Quantum of the Seas returns to Brisbane

Royal Caribbean 's Quantum of the Seas has returned to Brisbane, where it begins its fourth season as the region's largest cruise ship. This summer, the vessel will offer Australians more vacation options than ever before, with a schedule of 28 cruises ranging from three-night weekend getaways to nine-night voyages to idyllic South Pacific destinations.

Royal Caribbean's Quantum of the Seas returns to Brisbane“We are thrilled to bring our award-winning Quantum of the Seas back to Brisbane, so more Queensland families can enjoy the unforgettable Royal Caribbean vacation experiences they know and love,” said Gavin Smith, Vice President and General Manager of Royal Caribbean Australia and New Zealand. “With more short breaks and weekend getaways, it will be easier than ever to disconnect this season, whether it’s with a quick escape with friends or a longer family adventure.”.

With a wealth of activities on offer in the Australian state of Queensland, travelers can choose from 13 cruises along Australia's east coast, with itineraries ranging from three to seven nights and including stops in Airlie Beach and Cairns. These routes bring passengers closer to some of Queensland's most attractive tropical destinations.

Beyond this region, seven- to eight-night cruises through the South Pacific offer the chance to discover destinations such as Nouméa in New Caledonia, and Port Vila and Mystery Island in Vanuatu. Crystal-clear beaches, idyllic landscapes, and lively local markets are just some of the attractions of these voyages.

The Quantum of the Seas combines excitement, gastronomy, and entertainment for all types of travelers. The most adventurous can experience the sensation of freefall in the RipCord by iFLY skydiving simulator, surf the artificial waves of the FlowRider, or enjoy panoramic ocean views from the North Star observation capsule.

The culinary offerings range from classic American cuisine at Chops Grille to sushi at Izumi and Italian-inspired dishes perfect for sharing with the family at Jamie's Italian. Onboard entertainment will also be available, along with relaxation areas such as the Vitality Spa and the Solarium, an exclusive adults-only zone.

Royal Caribbean will strengthen its presence in Australia this season with two Quantum-class ships. The Anthem of the Seas will join the Quantum of the Seas in Australian waters this month. With Sydney as its home port and the city's iconic harbor as a backdrop, the Anthem will offer 21 cruises ranging from three to eleven nights to Australia, New Zealand, and the South Pacific, providing a new season of vacations and experiences for travelers.

This season will also mark the return of The Wiggles themed cruises, exclusive to Royal Caribbean, with The Wiggly Friends characters appearing aboard the Quantum of the Seas and the Anthem of the Seas.

The family-friendly offering will include three special themed cruises departing from Sydney and Brisbane, where children and their families can enjoy a holiday with The Wiggles and their characters. These include Tsehay Hawkins (Yellow Wiggle), Lucia Field (Blue Wiggle), Caterina Mete (Red Wiggle), and the Tree of Wisdom.

In addition to Royal Caribbean's usual family experiences, these voyages will offer a special program featuring character meet-and-greets, live concerts, exclusive products from the collaboration between Royal Caribbean and The Wiggles, and other activities designed to make the vacation an unforgettable experience for the whole family.
