Explora Journeys presents two new travel collections for the 2027-2028 winter season, offering guests a unique selection of destinations: a sun-drenched escape to the wild frontiers of South America aboard EXPLORA I, or a journey to enjoy the islands of the Mediterranean and the Atlantic aboard EXPLORA V.

These new travel collections are in addition to existing itineraries in the Caribbean and Asia.
EXPLORE I – South America: a continent of contrasts
From December 2027 to March 2028, EXPLORA I makes the most of the southern hemisphere's summer months, charting a course through the contrasting landscapes and natural wonders of Brazil, Uruguay, Argentina, the Falkland Islands and Chile.
Passengers will experience the vibrant energy of tropical coastlines, golden beaches, and festive celebrations, including Christmas at sea and New Year's Eve on the Brazilian waterfront. Five overnight stays in ports such as Buenos Aires, Puerto Madryn, and Rio de Janeiro promise unforgettable evenings, complemented by eight late-night departures from coastal cities ranging from Balneário Camboriú and Port Stanley to Rio and Maceió. Discovering 20 unique destinations along the way, including 12 in Brazil, the ship will travel from lively cultural centers to the wild and untamed majesty of the far south.
Heading towards Patagonia, considered the end of the world, the itinerary connects Montevideo and the wildlife-rich waters of the Beagle Channel with Puerto Williams, Punta Arenas, and the legendary shores of Cape Horn. The route passes through glaciers, fjords, and archipelagos, offering pristine nature alongside refined seaside living.
EXPLORE V – The Inaugural Season Collection
EXPLORA V's inaugural season, running from December 2027 to April 2028, begins with an exploration of the western and central Mediterranean and the ancient North African coast. In January, the ship sails out into the sun-drenched Atlantic, before returning to the Mediterranean in March.
Passengers discover Calabria during their first stop in Crotone, while extended stops in Salerno, Livorno, Palma de Mallorca, Kotor, and Ibiza invite them to explore the cities well into the night. Istanbul offers the chance to discover historic neighborhoods and bustling bazaars after sunset, while Pauillac, France, provides access to the renowned wineries of Bordeaux. Among the most memorable celebrations are Christmas at sea and New Year's Eve off the coast of Naples, with spectacular views of the city's fireworks from the ship's open-air decks.
Sailing towards the Atlantic islands, ancient forests, stunning coastlines, and island cultures await. Los Cristianos, in Tenerife, boasts hiking trails through volcanic terrain and rugged coastal landscapes, while the Canary Islands and Madeira reveal breathtaking natural formations and lush terraced hillsides. Overnight stays in Casablanca and Lisbon further enrich the experience, offering additional time to discover two of the most captivating cities on the Atlantic coast.

In both travel collections, the time spent on board complements the destinations visited.
