Norwegian Cruise Line today unveiled images of the redesigned spaces and new features added to the Norwegian Jade®and Norwegian Gem®,including the new adults-only Vibe Beach Club and an upgraded Thermal Suite at the award-winning Mandara Spa and Salon.

NEW THERMAL SUITE EXPERIENCES AT MANDARA SPA & SALON
Redesigned based on guest feedback, the revamped Thermal Suite aboard Norwegian Jade and Norwegian Gem now features three times as many popular heated loungers, a more centralized layout with an improved reception area, updated saunas and steam rooms, and new relaxing and revitalizing experiences, including:
- A charcoal sauna, which uses a radiant heat system with an outer layer of charcoal, has potential benefits for stimulating circulation and helping to eliminate toxins from the body. Its thermal properties contribute to reducing stiffness and muscle tension.
- Ice room, whose cold air helps to stimulate the respiratory tract.
- Salt room, which promotes healthy skin and induces deep relaxation.
- IV Lounge, an increasingly popular treatment that allows essential nutrients to be delivered to the body quickly.
- Four-Senses Loungers, offering the ultimate sensory experience for deep relaxation.
In addition, the Norwegian Jade features new experiential showers with multiple water jets and lighting effects to revitalize the body, as well as a plunge pool for short, cool-water immersion sessions that accelerate muscle recovery, stimulate circulation, and leave guests feeling refreshed and invigorated. Meanwhile, the Norwegian Gem offers a renovated whirlpool and a thalassotherapy pool, which uses massage jets, bubble loungers, and currents to help detoxify the body and relieve joint pain.
DEBUT OF THE POPULAR VIBE BEACH CLUB, EXCLUSIVE TO ADULTS AND STARBUCKS
Both Norwegian Jade and Norwegian Gem now offer an exclusive adults-only lounge with the guest-favorite Vibe Beach Club, which repurposes the existing sundeck on Deck 14. This exclusive open-air oasis offers sweeping ocean views, a private full-service bar, an additional Jacuzzi, more than 50 premium lounge chairs, and seven new private cabanas for guests to enjoy a perfect spot to unwind.
As the first cruise line to offer the world's most recognized coffee brand, Starbucks®, across its entire fleet and at its private destinations, NCL now adds a new licensed store on board the Norwegian Jade, so guests can enjoy the same hot and cold handcrafted beverages, seasonal blends, and sweet and savory treats.
SUMMER GETAWAYS TO EUROPE AND ALASKA
From now until the end of summer 2026, the Norwegian Jade offers a series of seven-day cruises from Vancouver, British Columbia, and Whittier, Alaska, featuring scenic sailing through the Inside Passage and glacial regions, as well as visits to Ketchikan, Juneau, Skagway, and Icy Strait Point, Alaska. Meanwhile, aboard the Norwegian Gem, guests can immerse themselves in the rich history and vibrant culture of the Mediterranean and the Greek islands on various cruises departing from Rome, Italy, or Venice, Italy, visiting ports such as Cannes, France; Florence/Pisa, Italy; Split and Dubrovnik, Croatia; and some of Greece's most sought-after islands. As the year progresses toward the end of 2026, the Norwegian Gem offers sun-and-fun cruises to the Caribbean and the Bahamas departing from Tampa, Florida, while the Norwegian Jade returns to Asia for bucket-list-worthy, immersive voyages.
