MSC Cruises has successfully launched a new Digital Remote Check-In system in Seattle, designed to streamline the boarding process and offer passengers a smoother experience from the start of their journey.
The solution was launched to coincide with the inaugural season of the MSC Poesia in Alaska and allows passengers using the company's official airport transfers to complete all boarding procedures at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport, before arriving at the cruise terminal.
Thanks to this system, travelers complete the document verification and check-in process beforehand, so once at the port terminal, they can go directly to security and boarding, without having to go through the traditional check-in counters.
This innovation significantly reduces boarding times and allows passengers to start their vacation more quickly and comfortably.
MSC Cruises plans to progressively expand this service not only to passengers arriving at the airport, but also to hotels and other selected locations where travelers begin their experience with the company.
Following the success of its implementation in Seattle, the shipping company plans to gradually extend Digital Remote Check-In to other ports in its international network.
