Dream Cruises continued its 10th anniversary celebrations with a highlight experience aboard the Genting Dream, hosting a special two-night cruise from Singapore to Melaka with renowned chef Tommie Lee, popularly known as “Chef French Papa” from the Culinary Class Wars.
Guests on board enjoyed an intimate culinary session where Chef Lee shared his journey, inspirations, and creative philosophy, offering a deeper insight into his work. Commenting on the collaboration, Michael Goh, President of StarDream Cruises, emphasized the importance of this partnership in elevating the passenger experience by combining gastronomy, storytelling, and travel, while Chef Lee expressed his enthusiasm for creating memorable culinary moments during this special celebration.
The highlight of the trip was a French gastronomic experience specially designed by Chef Lee, paired with selections from the renowned Veuve Clicquot. The menu presented a refined progression of flavors, beginning with escargot vol-au-vent, followed by prosciutto with mesclun salad, a rich bouillabaisse maison , and a luxurious slow-roasted beef tenderloin with foie gras and truffle roulade. The experience concluded with an indulgent chocolate mousse with dulce de leche foam.
Although Chef Lee's participation was exclusive to this cruise, the menu he designed will be available on upcoming Genting Dream voyages from May 3 to July 3, 2026, in the Bistro restaurant, extending this commemorative culinary experience to more passengers. This landmark voyage marks the beginning of a year of fine dining, entertainment, and exclusive collaborations as Dream Cruises continues to celebrate its 10th anniversary.
