P&O Cruises has unveiled its biggest summer program ever, with 215 new cruises now on sale across its fleet of seven ships. Departing from Southampton and offering fly-cruise options from Malta, the new program for summer 2028 provides more vacations than ever before.
Reinforcing its leadership in destinations in Northern Europe, the program includes an expanded offering of itineraries through the Norwegian fjords, with 36 weekend departures (including Fridays) between May and September 2028, making it even easier for guests to enjoy one of the most sought-after scenic trips in the world.
The 2028 summer program will visit 121 destinations in 29 countries between March and October 2028. With 64 overnight stopovers and 69 late evening departures, travelers will have more time at their destination to explore UNESCO World Heritage sites such as the Parthenon and the Temple of Athena Nike on the Acropolis of Athens (from Piraeus), as well as Antoni Gaudí 's most famous works in Barcelona .
Main new features for summer 2028:
- The Arvia will offer a new 14-night itinerary combining Spain and France with the Norwegian fjords, departing from Southampton.
- The smaller Arcadia and Aurora will continue to offer adults-only cruises to Norway, Iceland, Northern Europe and Scandinavia.
- The Arcadia and the Aurora will also include multigenerational voyages of between 3 and 21 nights on selected dates.
- The Aurora will make a 21-night Arctic voyage in August 2028 to Iceland and the North Cape, with an overnight stay in Reykjavik.
- The Azura will add a new stop with an overnight stay in Livorno, bringing destinations like Florence and Pisa closer together.
- The Colosseum and Rome's iconic landmarks (from Civitavecchia) will be available on Britannia and Ventura itineraries.
The 2028 summer program includes short breaks, Mediterranean cruises with flights included, trips to the British Isles, Canary Islands, Northern Europe and Scandinavia, as well as longer itineraries of up to 30 nights to the United States and Canada.
Booking before June 30, 2026, Summer 2028 offers include a 10% early booking discount and 10% deposit on selected fares, plus an additional 5% discount for Peninsular Club loyalty program members on selected voyages; and special third and fourth cabin sharing rates on selected Summer 2028 cruises from/to Southampton of seven nights or more.
The price includes accommodation, full board, access to swimming pools and entertainment — such as theatrical shows and live music — plus free kids' clubs.
The new permanent all-inclusive packages also include beverages, specialty restaurant credit, and Wi-Fi. For example, guests can upgrade their experience with the Classic package, saving up to 32% compared to purchasing each package individually on board.
