Seabourn has opened sales for its 2028-2029 expedition travel collection, unveiling a season designed for deeper exploration of the Arctic and the second edition of its Great “Pole to Pole” Expedition, as part of the company’s 40th anniversary in 2028.
During the 2028–2029 season, the Seabourn Venture and Seabourn Pursuit will offer 49 sailings ranging from 8 to 96 days, visiting more than 180 destinations in 29 countries. Highlights include expanded Arctic itineraries—including Svalbard, Greenland, Iceland , and the Canadian Arctic—as well as voyages to Antarctica, South Georgia, the Falkland Islands, and remote regions such as the Chilean fjords and the South Atlantic.
The itineraries are designed to maximize contact with nature through Zodiac boat trips, kayaking, guided landings, and enrichment programs. New destinations include Ellesmere Island, Ascension Island, Saint Helena, and Tristan da Cunha, as well as new routes through Labrador, Nunavut, and the Faroe Islands.

As part of its 40th anniversary, Seabourn will launch its second Great Pole-to-Pole Expedition. Departing on August 17, 2028, this 96-day voyage will sail from Reykjavik to Ushuaia, covering more than 20,500 nautical miles from the High Arctic to Antarctica.
During the tour, guests will explore 14 countries and territories, with highlights such as:
- Five days in Antarctica
- Three days in South Georgia
- Three days in the Falkland Islands, including Port Stanley
The trip also crosses the equator and the tropics, and includes 62 days of destination experiences, as well as pre- and post-trip stays with flights included. Key highlights include:
- Arctic exploration in Greenland and Canada
- Wildlife observation, from polar bears to penguins and whales
- Bird and penguin colonies in South Georgia and the Falkland Islands
- Possibility of seeing the Northern Lights from the ship
Travelers can choose between the full 96-day journey or a shorter 82-day version, both featuring expedition experiences, high-level gastronomy, premium drinks, fully equipped luxury suites (including Swarovski binoculars), Zodiac excursions, kayaking, and exclusive activities such as Polar Plunge or Caviar on the Ice.
During the company's anniversary, Seabourn has designed a nature-focused season, with longer itineraries, more time for landings, and more in-depth programs.
Between April and September 2028, both ships will explore the Arctic with expanded routes that include Greenland, Iceland, the Canadian Arctic, and the Northwest Passage. They will also return to Svalbard, one of the region's most iconic destinations.
Travelers will sail through Greenland's fjords, Baffin Island and the Torngat Mountains in Labrador, as well as extremely remote regions such as Ellesmere Island.
