MSC Cruises presents the newly renovated MSC Poesia, after successfully completing its dry dock refurbishment at the Palumbo Malta Shipyard.
The ship now boasts a wide range of new features, including the addition of the exclusive MSC Yacht Club, as well as enhanced passenger experiences, ahead of its highly anticipated debut season in Alaska next month.
MSC Poesia is the second ship in the MSC Musica class to undergo a major refurbishment at the Maltese shipyard, following its sister ship, MSC Magnifica, which left the shipyard in December.
The transformation represents a significant milestone for MSC Cruises, reflecting a substantial ongoing investment in the refurbishment and modernization of its fleet to continuously improve the passenger experience.
MSC Poesia will now feature MSC Yacht Club, the brand's exclusive "yacht within a ship" concept, offering 69 elegantly decorated suites, 24-hour butler and concierge service, and access to a private oasis of facilities including an exclusive restaurant, lounge, private terrace with jacuzzis, and a grill restaurant and bar.
Passengers will also be able to enjoy two new specialty restaurants: Butcher's Cut, an authentic American-style steakhouse, and Kaito Sushi Bar, inspired by the Far East, where they can sample expertly prepared sushi and exquisite authentic Asian dishes.
This upgrade will also include a newly designed MSC Aurea Spa and Gym Powered by Technogym®, equipped with a barbershop, several training studios and the Top 15 Exclusive Solarium, a large outdoor area for Aurea Experience passengers.
Earlier this year, MSC Cruises announced the expansion of its renowned MSC Yacht Club to two more ships, MSC Musica and MSC Orchestra. The completion of these latest upgrades means that all four ships in the MSC Musica class will now be fully refurbished and feature the MSC Yacht Club, including MSC Poesia, MSC Magnifica, MSC Musica , and MSC Orchestra.
After departing Europe, MSC Poesia will transit the world-famous Panama Canal before arriving in Seattle for its Alaskan season. From May to September 2026, the ship will sail 7-night itineraries to stunning destinations, including Ketchikan, Juneau, Endicott Arm, and Icy Strait Point.
After its season in Alaska, the ship will move to offer Caribbean itineraries from Miami during the winter of 2026-2027, with stops in destinations such as Jamaica, Colombia, Costa Rica, Aruba, Curacao and Belize, before returning to Alaska in the summer of 2027.
