Princess Cruises presents its 2027–28 South American season aboard the Majestic Princess, featuring overnight experiences on the Antarctic Peninsula, late-night port calls, and access to 15 UNESCO World Heritage sites throughout the region. Now on sale, the October 2027–January 2028 season includes six sailings on four itineraries (ranging from 15 to 37 days), designed to offer guests more time ashore in iconic cities and more scenic, nature-focused cruises in Patagonia and beyond.

The season begins in October 2027 with a 37-day voyage, the South America Passage Grand Adventure, departing from Southampton (London). The journey crosses the Atlantic with stops in Lisbon, the Canary Islands, Rio de Janeiro, and Montevideo before concluding in San Antonio (Santiago). Following this, the Majestic Princess, with a capacity for 3,560 passengers, will offer:
- 15-day trips to Cape Horn and the Glaciers of Patagonia – between Buenos Aires (Argentina) and San Antonio (Santiago, Chile)
- 17-day trips to Antarctica and South America – round trip from Buenos Aires, with overnight experiences on the Antarctic Peninsula
- In addition, two adventures that combine land and sea:
- Machu Picchu Explorer: 6 nights ashore before or after your cruise visiting Lima, Sacred Valley, Machu Picchu and Cusco (Peru)
- Iguazu Falls Adventure: 5 nights ashore before or after your cruise visiting Buenos Aires, Iguazu Falls and Rio de Janeiro
The season includes 6 departures on 4 unique itineraries (15–37 days), from October 2027 to January 2028; 19 destinations in 8 countries, including Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Uruguay and more; as well as 15 UNESCO World Heritage sites, including the Valdés Peninsula for whale watching from Puerto Madryn and Carioca landscapes between the mountain and the sea (Rio de Janeiro) – Copacabana Beach and Christ the Redeemer; overnight stays in Buenos Aires on all trips and overnight stops in Lisbon, Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Rio de Janeiro and Ushuaia.
Onboard activities seamlessly blend the destination experience with life on the ship. While cruising around the Antarctic Peninsula, naturalists guide passengers in observing wildlife and landscapes, sharing the region's history. Themed events include Argentine folk music and regional cuisine, as well as a Carnival celebration with samba dancers and interactive classes. The ship also offers lectures by Antarctic experts, naturalists, historians, and storytellers.
