Princess Cruises announces its 2028 World Cruise aboard the Coral Princess, a 115-day global voyage visiting 49 destinations in 24 countries across five continents. The itinerary includes 39 UNESCO World Heritage sites, plus overnight stops and late departures, as well as a first stop in Mossel Bay, South Africa.
The voyage will depart on January 3, 2028, from and return to Fort Lauderdale or Los Angeles. This 115-day itinerary offers passengers the opportunity to discover the world while only having to unpack once. In addition, there are flexible segment options for the World Cruise, with durations ranging from 20 to 100 days, allowing travelers to tailor the trip to their availability.
An epic journey of the Coral Princess across five continents
Aboard the Coral Princess, an intimate ship accommodating approximately 2,000 passengers, guests will cross the Equator and the International Date Line (IDL) on this grand 36,000-nautical-mile exploration.
The itinerary will transit the legendary Panama Canal before immersing travelers in the natural beauty and vibrant cultures of Hawaii and the South Pacific, with stops in Samoa and Fiji. The journey continues to Australia and New Zealand, visiting iconic cities such as Sydney, Melbourne, and Auckland, as well as extraordinary landscapes and unique wildlife.
The Coral Princess then crosses the Indian Ocean to remote islands like Mauritius and Réunion, before arriving in South Africa, where it will make an overnight stop in Cape Town and a special first stop in Mossel Bay, a charming coastal town known for its stunning beaches and rich history.
Mossel Bay is also home to a UNESCO World Heritage Site that includes coastal caves with some of the oldest evidence of modern human behavior, dating back more than 160,000 years.
Continuing north along the West African coast, the journey enters the Mediterranean, with visits to Barcelona, Sicily, and the Adriatic Sea, including Dubrovnik, as well as Casablanca, before crossing the Atlantic Ocean back to North America.

The 2028 World Cruise aboard the Coral Princess includes extended “More Ashore” experiences, allowing passengers to enjoy more time at the destinations:
• Overnight stopovers in Cape Town (South Africa) and Auckland (New Zealand).
• 10 late departure stops, including Barcelona, Casablanca, Dubrovnik, Honolulu, Melbourne and Sydney.
• For the first time, Princess invites guests to participate in a safari experience in one of Africa's five most outstanding nature reserves, including Aquila Game Reserve and the iconic Pumba Private Game Reserve, home to the famous White Lions.
