Regent Seven Seas Cruises has reached its highest booking volume month ever, with January 2026 setting an all-time record for global bookings across its entire fleet.
“ This record- breaking month reflects the brand’s continued momentum and the sustained demand for Regent’s unparalleled all-inclusive luxury cruise experience ,” said Jason Montague, Chief Luxury Officer of Regent Seven Seas Cruises. “ Luxury travelers are clearly prioritizing immersive, high-value vacation experiences, and Regent continues to deliver on that promise through exceptional itineraries, spacious suites, and the most comprehensive amenity offering in the ultra-luxury segment. We want to thank and acknowledge our valued guests and travel partners, who have helped our teams achieve this incredible milestone. ”
January's performance—which saw a 20% increase in bookings compared to January 2025—was driven by strong demand across Regent's global portfolio of destinations, with travelers securing their voyages well in advance and demonstrating greater confidence in long-term travel planning. Particularly strong interest was observed in certain destinations, notably Pacific and South American itineraries, which exceeded historical levels. Data also indicated increased demand for longer itineraries of 15 days or more, as well as a significant rise in guests booking multiple cruises.
This achievement was also supported by the popular Upgrade Your Horizon, which invites guests to experience the Unrivaled with a free upgrade of two suite categories, 50% reduced deposits on all destinations until April 2028 and an onboard credit on select voyages in 2026.
It is also worth noting that Regent Seven Seas has been awarded "Best Long Voyage Cruise Line 2025" at the recent Cruise Media Group Excellence Awards.
The strong performance comes at a time when Regent continues to build its positioning through a series of significant brand and product announcements that reinforce its leadership in the ultra-luxury travel segment. Recent milestones include the unveiling of Seven Seas Prestige™, which, following its launch in December 2026, will be Regent’s first new class of ship in a decade, along with continued investment in fleet enhancements, destination-rich itineraries, and elevated onboard experiences designed to meet the evolving expectations of today’s luxury traveler. These strategic developments underscore Regent’s long-term vision and commitment to shaping the future of the luxury travel sector and setting new industry standards.
Seven Seas Prestige
Scheduled to debut in December 2026 as Regent’s seventh ship and the first of three Prestige-Class vessels, Seven Seas Prestige is the most anticipated addition to The World’s Most Luxurious Fleet® . This milestone marks the beginning of an ambitious new chapter for Regent, with a second Prestige-Class ship confirmed for 2030 and a third announced for 2033—a strategic expansion that will offer discerning travelers even more opportunities to experience ultra-luxury in over 550 destinations worldwide.
It is worth noting that Seven Seas Prestige will be 40% larger than previous Regent ships, but will accommodate only 10% more guests, offering a truly Unrivaled Space at Sea.
At 77,000 tons and with a capacity for only 822 guests served by 630 crew members, the ship offers one of the highest space-to-guest and crew-to-guest ratios in the cruise industry. The suites, all with balconies and elegantly appointed, usher in a new era of ultra-luxury accommodations with 12 distinct categories, including four new types, among them the largest all-inclusive ultra-luxury suite in cruise history: the Skyview Regent Suite, as well as the Skyview Suites and the two-level Grand Loft Suites.
The elegant public spaces are thoughtfully designed, from the sophisticated and light-filled Starlight Atrium to the art-inspired Galileo's Bar. Offering Regent guests the opportunity to experience Epicurean Perfection like never before, Seven Seas Prestige features a carefully curated culinary journey through 11 dining experiences, with an additional new culinary space to be revealed later. These include Azure, a new Mediterranean mezze-style concept, and signature favorites such as Chartreuse, Prime 7, and Pacific Rim.
During its inaugural season, Seven Seas Prestige will sail 13 extraordinary voyages to Europe and the Caribbean, including two transatlantic crossings. These meticulously crafted itineraries, ranging from 10 to 15 nights, will highlight exceptional destinations and immersive experiences, from Regent's private island, Harvest Caye, in Belize, to two transits through the Panama Canal and overnight stays in culturally rich cities such as London (England), Lisbon (Portugal), and Bordeaux (France).
In the words of Juan Rodero, General Manager of Un Mundo de Cruceros/StarClass and exclusive agent of Regent Seven Seas Cruises in Spain, “the arrival of the Seven Seas Prestige - as well as the announcement of the new ships - will be an added attraction for Regent Seven Seas Cruises customers, who are already very loyal to the brand and which offers classic yet contemporary ultra-luxury with an enormous space-per-passenger ratio.”
