Celestyal will feature two new Formula 1 themed cruises for its 2026/27 season in the Arabian Gulf.
On November 27, 2026, the 1,260-passenger Celestyal Journey will be in Doha for a special eight-night itinerary coinciding with the Doha Formula 1 Grand Prix. The ship will spend three nights in port, allowing guests to attend all the practice sessions, qualifying, and the race. The cruise will then depart from Doha with stops in Dubai (United Arab Emirates, with an overnight stay on board), Abu Dhabi, Sir Bani Yas Island (UAE), and Khalifa Bin Salman (Bahrain).
On December 4, 2026, the 1,360-passenger Celestyal Discovery will be in Abu Dhabi (UAE) for a seven-night itinerary coinciding with the Abu Dhabi Formula 1 Grand Prix. The ship will also spend three nights in port, allowing passengers to enjoy all the race weekend sessions. Afterward, it will depart from Abu Dhabi on a four-night “Iconic Arabia” cruise, with stops in Doha (Qatar), Ras Al Khaimah (UAE), and Khasab (Oman).
All fares include all meals on board, a selection of soft drinks, Wi-Fi, port taxes, and gratuities. Race tickets will be available for purchase through Celestyal, and travel agents can pre-register to purchase tickets through the cruise line's agency sales team.
Following these special itineraries, the Celestyal Journey will continue its season in the Arabian Gulf operating a new version of the seven-night “Amazing Desert” itinerary until March 2027, with departures and returns from Doha and stops in Dubai (with an overnight stay on board), Abu Dhabi, Sir Bani Yas Island and Bahrain.
The Celestyal Discovery, which will also operate until March 2027, will offer the three, four and seven night “Iconic Arabia” cruises, with departures and returns from Abu Dhabi and stops in Doha, Khasab, Dubai, Sir Bani Yas Island and Ras Al Khaimah.
Lee Haslett, Chief Commercial Officer of Celestyal, commented: “Returning to the Arabian Gulf for a third consecutive season with both ships marks a significant milestone for Celestyal and clearly reflects the strong demand we continue to see in this region. Our previous Formula 1-linked cruises have been some of the most successful and talked-about itineraries we have operated, combining world-class sporting events with immersive destinations and the comfort of a cruise holiday.”
"Building on that foundation, our new F1 departures in Doha and Abu Dhabi for 2026 offer travelers even more time in port, seamless access to the race weekend action and the opportunity to explore the Gulf in depth, all within the excellent value experience and wealth of destinations that characterizes Celestyal.".
