Uniworld announces the President's 50th Anniversary Cruise aboard the new SS EmilieThis commemorative voyage will set sail on October 23, 2026, with the new itinerary "Vienna and Danube capitals", aboard the SS Emilie, Uniworld's newest Super Ship, which will make its debut in the 2026 season.

Guests will enjoy exclusive activities and excursions, opportunities to connect with Ellen throughout the journey, and special surprises created specifically for this unique cruise.

“Traveling with our amazing guests is something I always look forward to, and hosting my 2026 President’s Cruise aboard our beautiful new SS Emilie makes it even more special,” says Ellen Bettridge, President and CEO of Uniworld. “With our 50th anniversary approaching, this is a particularly significant year for us. We’re setting sail on a brand-new Danube itinerary, complete with special moments, activities, and surprises to mark the occasion.”.

The SS Emilie is Uniworld's first new build in five years, with a design inspired by the Austrian painter Gustav Klimt and named after his muse and life partner, Emilie Flöge.

With a capacity for 154 guests, the ship is one of a kind and showcases Klimt's iconic aesthetic throughout, featuring shades of green, blue, and yellow, striking gold accents, and abundant Art Nouveau details. In addition to its signature restaurant, lounge, and onboard bar, the SS Emilie will debut a unique accommodation option: a spacious two-bedroom suite combining a Grand Suite with an adjoining Deluxe stateroom featuring a French balcony.

The 10-day "Vienna and Danube Capitals" itinerary is ideal for city lovers, offering the opportunity to explore four vibrant capitals along the Danube.

After a luxurious stay in a Vienna hotel, guests will sail to Budapest, Belgrade, and Bratislava. With medieval history, grand architecture, and world-class art at every stop, the itinerary offers endless opportunities for discovery.
