When the Star Princess sets sail on October 4, the evenings on board will not just entertain: they will captivate. Princess Cruises presents the entertainment lineup for its newest Sphere-class ship, which includes two original theatrical shows, a series of candlelight concerts, and an international cast of performers from 24 countries who will fill every corner of the ship with life.
Designed to awaken the imagination, stir the soul, and foster connection, the Star Princess combines large-scale productions in its most technologically advanced theater, ambient live music in The Dome, and spontaneous performances in the luminous glass-domed Piazza.

The Princess Arena: where stories take center stage
🔹 New! Meridian is a cinematic spectacle of longing and liberation, featuring an original score and reimagined versions of familiar hits. Directed by BAFTA winner Dan Shipton, choreographed by Kieran Daley-Ward, and produced by Ross Nicholson, the show blends dazzling masquerade balls with roaring engine rooms to bring to life the destiny of noblewoman Arabella Dovewood.
🔹 New! Illuminate: A Spectacular of Joy
Under the nostalgic big top of a circus, Illuminate reveals the wonder hidden in the unexpected. Led by a troupe embodying the various facets of the ringmaster—charisma, control, cunning, and charm—the show transports audiences through spectacular, reality-defying scenes. Featuring a multigenerational pop soundtrack composed by Kola Bello, choreography by Jay Revell (who also co-directs), and production by Ross Nicholson, this immersive show highlights the extraordinary in the everyday.
Both productions were developed with the innovative team at Black Skull Creative, renowned for creating experiences that transform the public's perception worldwide.
🔸 Viva La Música returns after its premiere at the Sun Princess, choreographed by renowned Latin artist Liz Imperio, known for her work with Jennifer Lopez, Madonna, and Gloria Estefan. Featuring hits like Camila Cabello's "Havana" and Santana's "Oye Como Va," this energetic celebration filled with Latin rhythms will electrify the sea.
From deck parties under the stars to lively celebrations in the Piazza, and a brilliant reinterpretation of the traditional Champagne Cascade, guests can dance to live music, enjoy themed events, or simply immerse themselves in a vibrant atmosphere that comes alive at nightfall.
The new Candlelight Concert Series transforms the Star Princess's glass dome into a candlelit sanctuary. This unique space will host an unforgettable musical and visual experience, where classical music is reinterpreted with a contemporary approach. The live performances blend cinematic storytelling and musical artistry to create an unprecedented magical atmosphere at sea.

A 45-minute show led by the Princess World Orchestra (15 musicians) and conducted by the Cruise Director. This live show fills the Piazza with energy and vibrant music, offering guests an immersive experience in the heart of the ship.
🔹 Celestial Champagne Soirée
Also in the Piazza, Princess Cruises presents the new Celestial Champagne Soirée, a multimedia celebration under the stars with visual effects, surround sound and the iconic Champagne Cascade, which shines with timeless elegance.
The Star Princess, with a capacity for 4,300 passengers and a gross tonnage of 175,500, is the sister ship of the award-winning Sun Princess. Built by Fincantieri in Monfalcone, it will begin its inaugural season on October 4, 2025, sailing the Mediterranean, the Caribbean, the Panama Canal, and Alaska. Itineraries are now on sale.
