Silversea set sail today on its 83-day Grand Voyage across the North Atlantic and Northern Europe, inviting guests to follow in the footsteps of the early Vikings as they explore 55 destinations in 16 countries. Aboard the Silver Shadow, passengers will visit iconic ports such as Geiranger and Flåm, as well as smaller ports like Rouen, the Madeleine Islands, and others, benefiting from Silversea's destination expertise and personalized service at sea. Five overnight stays and numerous late departures will allow travelers to explore further inland.

Departing from New York City, travelers will journey across eastern Canada before crossing into the United Kingdom, France, Belgium, Northern Europe, including the Norwegian fjords, the Baltic Sea, and Iceland, before returning to Bayonne, New Jersey, on September 2, 2025. This immersive journey will connect travelers with the region's pristine landscapes, unique wildlife, and iconic cultural experiences.
Guests on the Grand Journey will participate in a wide variety of immersive land-based experiences. For example, in the UK, passengers will have access to the Boodles Jewellery House with an exclusive lunch in Liverpool and a private tour of a country house followed by lunch with an English lord in Dorset, among other experiences. In Norway, guests will be able to explore the Lysefjord by yacht and participate in an unforgettable kayaking and sauna experience in Trondheim. To further enrich the experience, two exclusive land-based events will reveal the authentic customs of the communities visited along the Grand Journey:
- Castles and Choirs – Cardiff, Wales – June 29, 2025 – An evening filled with atmosphere and music at the 17th-century Hensol Castle, with a dinner of Welsh delicacies prepared with top-quality local ingredients and the harmonies of the Johns' Boys Choir.
- Lakeside retreat, overnight accommodation – Quebec City, Canada – August 25 and 26, 2025 – Immersed in nature, guests will enjoy an afternoon relaxing in a luxurious lakeside lodge before dining under the stars at a barbecue picnic.
