Silversea has completed its 2025 World Cruise . Sailing from Tokyo on January 13 and arriving in New York City on May 29, guests explored many of the most iconic cities and hidden gems in Asia, Africa, Europe, and North America, combining exploration with deep immersion in the destinations.

During Controtempo, guests gained a fresh perspective on the world through seven exclusive events, unique to World Cruises and Grand Voyages , including:
- The Art of Saying Goodbye (Tokyo, Japan): On January 13, guests enjoyed a special lunch at Happo-en, where they savored the season's harvest through the art of washoku, a sensory feast of local dishes paired with fine Japanese wines.
- Hoi An for Food Lovers (Da Nang, Vietnam): On February 1, guests continued their journey with an evening of sensory discovery featuring a lantern-lit boat ride on the Hoi An River, and an exquisite meal highlighting Hoi An's celebrated culinary traditions.
- Singapore: A Panoramic View (Singapore): On February 7, guests ascended to new heights of culinary discovery. From a platform 57 stories above Singapore's cityscape, they enjoyed exclusive access to the Sky Park observation deck and experienced a recreation of the Hawker Market, enlivened with food and entertainment celebrating the diversity of Singapore's cultural melting pot.
- Whispers of the Namib, a heavenly feast (Walvis Bay, Namibia): On February 14, guests enjoyed a banquet of local specialties accompanied by fine South African wines, while delighting in the rhythms of the marimba, the harmonies of a choir and mesmerizing fire jugglers.
- An evening with Marie Antoinette at Versailles (Rouen, France): On April 13, guests enjoyed an evening of exclusivity and luxury at the residence of the last queen of France, Marie Antoinette, with private and exclusive access to the Versailles salons before dining in the Gallery of Battles.
- The World Through Our Eyes (Stockholm, Sweden): On April 29, guests enjoyed a private tour of Silversea's 30th anniversary photography exhibition, featuring works by renowned photographer Steve McCurry. Following the exhibition, guests savored a menu of Scandinavian specialties prepared by one of Stockholm's most celebrated chefs. As the sun set, guests danced under the disco ball to the sounds of ABBA.
- An iconic musical farewell (Boston, USA): On May 26, after a meal featuring New England summer specialties, guests enjoyed a private 60-minute concert by the Boston Pops, conducted by renowned conductor Keith Lockhart.
Silversea sets the stage for its 2026, 2027 and 2028 World Cruises
- The Curious and the Sea – Around the World 2026: aboard the Silver Dawn, will set sail from Fort Lauderdale on January 6, 2026 and arrive in Lisbon on May 27, 2026, visiting 37 countries over 140 days.
- The Three Oceans – Around the World 2027: aboard the Silver Dawn, will set sail from Los Angeles on January 8, 2027 and arrive in Copenhagen on June 7, 2027, visiting 35 countries over 149 days.
- An Ode to the Moment – Around the World 2028: departing from Miami on January 5, 2028 and arriving in Nice on May 16, 2028, visiting 29 countries during 132 days aboard the Silver Shadow.
