The Board of Directors of The World, Residences at Sea has appointed Jessica Hoppe as President and Chief Executive Officer.
Jessica Hoppe was appointed unanimously. She had previously served as interim CEO since April 2024. Based in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, she will oversee operations at the corporate office and onboard the ship.
According to the Board of Directors, “Jessica was the best candidate to lead the organization. Her knowledge, personal attributes, and proven track record make her a perfect fit for our unique and personalized environment. We are confident in her ability to lead our organization for the long term.”

Hoppe joined the company in February 2022 as General Counsel and Vice President of Strategic Alignment and was promoted to Chief Administrative Officer and General Counsel in August 2023.

Prior to joining The World, Hoppe held senior positions, including General Counsel and Senior Vice President of Crystal Cruises, LLC, in Miami, Florida.
She also served as General Counsel, Secretary and Senior Vice President of Government Affairs at Genting Americas Inc. in New York and Miami, and previously worked at Cleary, Gottlieb, Steen & Hamilton LLP in New York and at Balch & Bingham LLP in Gulfport, Mississippi, and Birmingham, Alabama.
