As Chief Operating Officer, Karl Muhlberger will oversee all onboard and shore-based hotel and food and beverage operations, onboard experiences, itinerary planning, and destination experiences. He will also continue to strengthen and elevate service excellence for The World's guests. Mr. Muhlberger will report to Tom Wolber, Managing Director.

Mr. Muhlberger is a hospitality expert. In his most recent role as Chief Operating Officer of Crystal Cruises, he was responsible for hotel operations, purchasing and logistics, fleet contracting, and guest relations for Crystal Ocean Cruises, Crystal River Cruises, Crystal Expedition Cruises, and Crystal Yacht. He previously worked for Norwegian Cruise Line, the Costa Group in Genoa, and Cunard and Seabourn Cruise Line.
