Ten Spanish travel agents will have the exclusive opportunity to travel to Malmö with Royal Caribbean to enjoy the Eurovision Song Contest live .
The lucky winners of Royal Caribbean's " Let Your Bookings Take You to Eurovision " contest will receive a VIP ticket to the Eurovision semi-final or final, with food and drinks included, as well as flight and transport to Sweden and two nights in a luxury hotel in the city center.
Sergio Arévalo, Sales Director for Spain at Royal Caribbean, explains, “Eurovision is an event followed by millions of people around the world, and that is why, as a global entertainment company, Royal Caribbean wants to bring this experience closer to our best agents, to reward them for their effort and hard work.”
“Since we started Club Royal as a program to reach out to professionals, we have managed to establish a very fluid and fruitful relationship with agents throughout Spain, and these types of actions are a recognition of their work”.
To participate in the competition, travel agents must enter Club Royal, Royal Caribbean's professional platform, select their Eurovision avatar and demonstrate the Royal Caribbean bookings they obtain for the entire 2024/25 season.
The agents who achieve the highest number of points with the sale of reservations between January 18 and February 29 will be crowned the winners of this contest and will enjoy this unique prize.
Regarding the points system, the competition establishes different categories, ranging from 5 points for each inside cabin reservation, up to 50 points for a suite reservation.
In addition, during the competition, two wildcard cards will be randomly assigned to agents who have registered at least one booking, and there will be weeks that will award double points for certain itineraries.
In addition, agents who do not qualify for the group of 10 finalists, that is, the eight who get the most points thanks to their bookings and the two who get a wildcard card, still have prize options.
Contestants who finish in positions 9 through 41 will be able to attend the Eurovision pre-parties in Barcelona and invite two or three guests. The first party, ESC YOUNG, will be held on April 5th at the Terrazza del Poble Espanyol, where attendees can enjoy concerts and Eurovision song covers performed by young artists from the festival and television talents from shows like Eufòria and the Junior Eurovision Song Contest.
And on April 6, the BARCELONA EUROVISION PARTY will take place at the San Jordi Club, a preview of what will happen at Eurovision in May 2024. It will feature representatives from other countries who, before their performance in Sweden, will promote their song in Barcelona.
