He has held senior management positions, notably at Belambra Clubs, Ponant, and Club Med. Clement Mousset and Cedric Rivoire-Perrochat, founders of CFC, will be appointed to the CFC Supervisory Board and will continue to be involved in the Group's development.

With the arrival of Philippe Mahouin, CFC enters a new phase in its history, aimed at consolidating its foundations and accelerating its commercial development. CFC is a new French cruise line, operating its flagship Renaissance since June 2023, with the ambition of establishing itself as the leading French cruise line in the premium segment.

Philippe Mahouin, President of CFC, stated: “I am delighted to join CFC to write the next chapter of its story with all the teams. Clément and Cédric have built CFC around a vision of French cruising, where the French flag embodies a premium experience with ships on a human scale. The results of the first season, which began at the end of June, are very encouraging and validate this concept. CFC’s objective is to pursue this vision and accelerate its commercial development while remaining as close as possible to its customers’ expectations.

Clement Mousset added: “When Cédric and I founded CFC in 2022, we were convinced that there was strong market demand for a French-style cruise operator like CFC. Today, we are very proud to see the Renaissance fully operational and its first season running successfully. Looking ahead, with Philippe taking over as president, supported by a committed and high-quality team, we are confident in the company’s development prospects.”
