MSC Meraviglia has arrived at its new homeport in New York, at the Brooklyn Cruise Terminal. This marks MSC Cruises' first year-round deployment of a ship in New York, further strengthening its presence in the North American market.
MSC Cruises offers "Stay & Cruise" packages with the option of spending up to three nights in New York before setting sail, with a selection of hotels available. As part of the package, passengers can enjoy a complimentary guided tour of Manhattan and its iconic landmarks before boarding.
MSC Meraviglia 's combination of 6- to 11-night itineraries has been designed to take advantage of New York's geographical flexibility, so passengers can soak up the sun in the Caribbean during spring and winter, head to Bermuda in summer, or travel north to visit Canada in autumn.
The itineraries from New York aboard the MSC Meraviglia include:
- The Bahamas and Florida: Tropical itineraries of 7 to 11 nights with a selection of destinations including Miami and Port Canaveral in Florida; Nassau and Ocean Cay MSC Marine Reserve in the Bahamas; Cozumel and Costa Maya in Mexico.
- Bermuda: From August, 5 and 6 night departures to Kings Wharf in Bermuda, with several days in port to explore the beauty of the island.
- Canada and New England: 10 and 11 night itineraries with stops in Newport, Boston and Portland in the United States and Saint John, Halifax, Charlottetown and Sydney in Canada.
The ship is 315 meters long and 65 meters high, has 19 decks and a capacity of up to 5,700 guests.
- 10 different types of cabins to choose from, including single cabins, balcony cabins, and accommodations in the MSC Yacht Club, along with exclusive restaurant, lounge, and pool areas.
- Galleria Meraviglia, a promenade of shops, restaurants and bars.

Furthermore, the MSC Meraviglia is equipped with innovative technology and solutions to minimize its environmental footprint, such as an exhaust gas cleaning system for cleaner emissions; an advanced wastewater treatment system; intelligent heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems to recover heat from machinery spaces; and LED lighting and smart devices to save energy significantly.
