Holland America Line has made two appointments in the Revenue Management Department: Carole Biencourt was appointed director of pricing and demand in the Europe Cruises section; and Justin Poulsen was appointed pricing and demand director in the Voyage Cruises section.
In their new roles, Biencourt and Poulsen are responsible for planning, positioning, and pricing strategies, as well as selling cruises worldwide for Holland America Line. Both directors report to Bet Bodensteiner, senior vice president of revenue management.
“Carole and Justin bring a wealth of experience, creativity, and analytical skills to their respective pricing and demand teams, and we are delighted to have them in their new leadership roles,” said Bodensteiner. “We congratulate them on their well-deserved appointments.”
Biencourt began his career with Holland America Line over 30 years ago, most recently serving as senior revenue accounting manager, where he oversaw a team of 10 employees. During his time with the company, he has grown professionally, performing various analytical roles that support the marketing and finance departments.
Poulsen joined Holland America Line in 2010 and most recently was a senior manager in the deployment and itinerary planning area, where he conceived, designed and implemented global methods for the company's fleet of 15 ships.
