Costa Cruises continues to advance in the evolution of its organizational model with a clear objective: to offer its guests an increasingly differentiated and personalized experience, both on board and on land, through greater integration of the main drivers of its commercial strategy.

The company has decided to consolidate its main business areas, which contribute to defining its value proposition, under a single management structure. From November 1, 2026, the organization, led by Francesco Muglia, Senior Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer, will include, in addition to Global Marketing, Direct Sales, and the Commercial Business Units, the functions of Pricing, Revenue Management, Route Planning, and Transportation.
Daniel Caprile, Vice President of Pricing and Revenue Management, Itineraries, and Transportation, will report to Francesco Muglia. He will also assume responsibility for Onboard Revenue. Caprile has extensive experience in pricing strategy, revenue management, itineraries, and transportation, as well as a strong ability to translate data and market insights into business decisions. He will continue to lead this function, which confirms its central role in the new organization by managing all revenue drivers in an integrated manner, both before and during the cruise.
With the new structure, itineraries, pricing strategy, marketing, sales, and experience design will all fall under a single management. This will allow Costa to respond to the market more quickly, accelerate decision-making, and comprehensively manage the value offered to guests throughout their entire experience.
This evolution is aligned with the development of the Sea & Land Wonder Platform, Costa's experience platform, the company's differentiating model that integrates destinations, itineraries, land experiences and onboard moments into a unique vacation vision.
“For us, a cruise begins long before boarding: with itinerary planning, pricing decisions, and the development of the overall offering. An integrated approach to these key levers will allow us to accelerate the evolution of our product and offer our guests increasingly differentiated and personalized experiences,” said Francesco Muglia, Senior Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer of Costa Cruises.
