Costa Cruises will celebrate a new edition of its C|Club Cruise from October 1st to 15th, 2027, an experience reserved for its most loyal guests that will travel the Western Mediterranean aboard the Costa Favolosa. The itinerary will include some of the region's most iconic islands, such as Elba, Sicily, the Egadi Islands, Sardinia, Ibiza, and Mallorca, as well as stops in Naples, Civitavecchia, Barcelona, and Marseille.
The company announced this new edition following the conclusion of the 2026 C|Club Cruise, which took place from October 5th to 19th aboard the same ship. This voyage was dedicated to the Northern Lights and took passengers from Hamburg to Northern Europe, a two-week journey that crossed the Arctic Circle.
The itinerary included stops in Bergen, Narvik, and Kristiansand, as well as overnight stays in Trondheim and Hammerfest, one of the world's northernmost cities. During the trip, guests were able to witness the Northern Lights for five consecutive nights.
The 2027 edition will swap the Nordic landscapes for the Mediterranean setting and will combine visits to different destinations with special experiences while sailing. These include a sunset in front of the Faraglioni in the Bay of Capri; the golden hour in the Gulf of Aranci, Sardinia; and a stargazing session in one of the darkest areas of the Balearic Sea.
According to Giovanna Loi, Vice President of Global Marketing & Direct Sales at Costa Cruises, this initiative allows the company to share its passion for travel with its most loyal customers through offerings designed specifically for them. She highlighted that the 2026 edition featured the Northern Lights as its central theme and that the characteristic elegance of the C|Club experience was present both on board and ashore.
Gastronomy, music and exclusive experiences
The 2026 C|Club Cruise featured a special program that combined gastronomy, entertainment, and activities related to the destinations visited. One of its main attractions was the participation of Michelin-starred chefs Bruno Barbieri, Hélène Darroze, and Ángel León, who led exclusive events and activities and created dishes inspired by the ports on the itinerary.
The program also included themed parties, a gala evening, and events such as the Sparkling Glam Party, inspired by the Northern Lights, the Black & Gold Party, and the Winter Party. Italian artist Mario Biondi was the musical guest for this edition, with an exclusive performance that combined his repertoire of soul, jazz, and pop.
On land, passengers could participate in excursions through the fjords and Nordic villages, as well as discover local traditions and products. Special activities included floatation and sauna sessions overlooking the Trondheim fjords, tastings at the Røkenes Gård estate, workshops on traditional Kvaløya crafts, and experiences exploring Sami culture in Kvernmo.
With the new edition planned for October 2027, Costa Cruises will once again bring together members of its C|Club community on a trip that will combine Mediterranean stops, gastronomic offerings and experiences designed to be enjoyed both on board and at the destinations.
Reservations for the 2027 C|Club Cruise can be made through travel agencies. To participate, passengers must be enrolled in the C|Club program before booking.
