Costa Cruises presents its 2026-2027 winter season, with itineraries through the Mediterranean, the Canary Islands and the Caribbean

With the 2026-2027 winter season, Costa Cruises presents new itinerary concepts for the Mediterranean, the Canary Islands and the Caribbean: each trip becomes a story with its own identity and a clearly recognizable personality, reflected even in its name, designed to highlight destinations, emotions, atmospheres and different travel styles, combining unique experiences both at sea and on land.

Costa Cruises presents its 2026-2027 winter season, with itineraries through the Mediterranean, the Canary Islands and the CaribbeanBecause the desire to enjoy the sea doesn't end with the end of summer. More and more travelers are choosing the winter months to take a break from their routines, rediscover the Mediterranean at its best, or follow the sun to the Canary Islands and the Caribbean. This has led to the creation of six new itineraries: three in the Mediterranean, two in the Caribbean, and one in the Canary Islands, reinforcing winter's role as a key season for those seeking the sea, discovery, and new ways to enjoy their holidays.

“The new itinerary concepts represent a further step in the evolution of our offering, which is becoming increasingly differentiated, contemporary, and recognizable. With the 2026-2027 winter season, we are combining iconic destinations, moments of wonder both at sea and on land, and different travel styles, all in full alignment with our Sea & Land Wonder Platform: vacation experiences with a clearer identity and increasingly relevant to our guests,” stated Luigi Stefanelli, Vice President of Global Sales at Costa Cruises.

Mediterranean: Iconic Cities at Their Perfect Time
. The Mediterranean remains the star of winter. According to CLIA (Cruise Lines International Association), more than 80% of Italian cruise passengers choose it as their main destination*. During the winter months, its most emblematic cities reveal their most authentic side: mild weather, a more relaxed pace of life, and a local atmosphere away from the crowds of peak season, allowing you to discover them from a different and more intimate perspective.

Three itineraries, three souls of the Western Mediterranean

– On board the Costa Toscana, “Iconic Mediterranean” is a journey through the cities that symbolize Mediterranean culture at the best time to visit them: Rome and its ancient legacy, Barcelona and Gaudí's modernism, Palma de Mallorca with its cathedral facing the sea and Palermo, a historical crossroads of Arab, Norman and Mediterranean cultures.

– With Costa Pacifica, “Mediterranean Soul” takes travelers to the heart of the most authentic port cities, among markets, voices and aromas that reflect the most genuine spirit of the Mare Nostrum: Las Ramblas in Barcelona, the souk of Tunis (La Goulette), the alleyways and San Gregorio Armeno in Naples, or the Ballarò market in Palermo.

– For its part, “Exotic Mediterranean” crosses two continents, from Andalusia to North Africa, to discover the most exotic facet of the Mediterranean: Malaga and its Andalusian essence, La Goulette, gateway to historic Tunisia, Tangier, crossroads of Arab and Mediterranean cultures, and Valencia, between Mediterranean light and innovative spirit.

The Canary Islands: a different world every day

Aboard the flagship Costa Smeralda, “Canary Islands” presents an archipelago of a thousand identities: volcanic landscapes, black sand beaches, golden dunes, lush forests, and spectacular cliffs overlooking the ocean. A constant contrast that makes each day a new discovery, from the volcanic beaches of Lanzarote to hiking around Mount Teide in Tenerife, and the expansive golden beaches of Fuerteventura.

The experience is further enhanced by Costa's exclusive Sea Destinations, unique destinations designed to be enjoyed from the sea's singular perspective. Highlights include Canary Sea Darkest Spot, where you can contemplate one of the most spectacular starry skies at the darkest point in the Atlantic, and Atlantis Crest, a captivating experience inspired by the myth of Atlantis.

Caribbean: two ways to experience the same tropical wonder

In the Caribbean, Costa Fascinosa offers two itineraries to discover tropical beauty from different perspectives.

– “Antilles Collection” presents the Lesser Antilles as a group of islands, each with a unique personality, allowing you to discover a new face of the Caribbean every day: the white sand beaches of Tortola, home to sea turtles; the volcanic landscapes of St. Lucia; the nights under some of the darkest skies in the Caribbean Sea; and the lush tropical rainforest of Guadeloupe.

– For its part, “Caribbean Heart” captures the very essence of the region, with the Dominican Republic as the soul of the trip: the tropical paradise of Catalina, the sunsets of Turks & Caicos, the wild nature of Samaná and the virgin coasts of Cabo Rojo.

The magic also unfolds on the high seas thanks to Costa's exclusive Sea Destinations. Highlights include Caribbean Sea Darkest Spot, where the ship reaches one of the darkest points in the Caribbean Sea to enjoy the spectacle of the starry sky; Guadeloupe Bay, with music, lights, and performances under the moon; Catalina Bay, with a party at sea surrounded by white sand beaches, palm trees, and turquoise waters; and the Turks & Caicos Archipelago, suspended between sky and sea at sunset, accompanied by tropical rhythms and rum-based appetizers.

And the evolution continues. Following their launch in the winter of 2027, these new concepts will also arrive in the summer of 2027 with a collection of itineraries through the Western Mediterranean, Eastern Mediterranean and Northern Europe, confirming a paradigm shift that redefines how to choose and experience a cruise.
