Seabourn presents a new 30-day voyage, "Amazon Explorer: Rivers & Rainforests", aboard Seabourn Quest, which will allow you to discover one of the most extraordinary rivers in the world through an itinerary that combines scenic navigation on the Amazon River, visits to riverside destinations and an overnight stay in Manaus.
Departing from and returning to Miami from November 18 to December 18, 2028, this luxury voyage will visit 15 destinations in seven countries and will be part of Seabourn's Ruby Jubilee year, with which the company will celebrate its 40th anniversary.

The new itinerary follows a route designed from the Caribbean to the Amazon River and offers the opportunity to experience local cultures, remote communities, and changing landscapes that have attracted explorers and travelers for generations.

The voyage will also kick off a season of extended cruises aboard Seabourn Quest. Following the Amazon itinerary, the ship will sail two 10-day Caribbean cruises for the holiday season before departing Miami on January 7, 2029, for its 138-day world cruise, “Iconic Islands & Remote Horizons,” offering guests new opportunities to extend their time onboard and explore some of the world’s most extraordinary regions in depth.
Exploring the river, the rainforest, and local cultures
The journey will begin in Miami and travel through the Caribbean before venturing onto the Amazon River, creating a transition between island destinations and one of the world's great rivers. Throughout the itinerary, passengers will discover the Amazon through scenic boat trips and visits to destinations that offer a glimpse into life along the riverbanks.
One of the main attractions will be the overnight stay in Manaus, a historic city surrounded by rainforest and long considered one of the gateways to the Amazon. The extended stay will allow more time to explore its architecture, markets, cultural attractions, and lively waterfront.
Stops in Santarém, Boca da Valeria and Parintins will offer the opportunity to discover the landscapes, cultures and traditions that have developed around one of the great rivers of the planet.
The ship will also visit Devil's Island in French Guiana, known for its history and remote location, as well as making stops in the Caribbean, including Saint Barthélemy, Trinidad and Grenada, adding greater diversity to the trip.
