Seabourn presents its 2029 World Cruise: “Iconic Islands and Remote Horizons,” a 138-day voyage aboard the Seabourn Quest that invites travelers to discover some of the world’s most fascinating destinations across five continents. Throughout the journey, passengers will enjoy Seabourn's signature blend of personalized service, spacious oceanfront suites, world-class dining, and exclusive experiences crafted specifically for World Cruise travelers.
“Our 2029 World Cruise exemplifies the kind of extraordinary travel experiences that define Seabourn,” said Mark Tamis, President of Seabourn. “This voyage combines world-renowned destinations with some of the most remote and fascinating places on the planet, creating opportunities for deeper discovery and meaningful cultural connection. From exclusive onshore events and immersive experiences to the personalized service and intimacy that distinguish Seabourn, every element of this voyage has been carefully designed to inspire and enrich our guests.”.
A journey that connects the most extraordinary places in the world
The 2029 Around the World voyage has been carefully designed to balance world-renowned destinations with hidden gems rarely featured on traditional itineraries. From the spectacular landscapes of Easter Island and the turquoise lagoons of Bora Bora to the vibrant cultures of Zanzibar and Cape Town, the journey offers passengers the chance to discover both iconic landmarks and less-explored corners of the planet.
Passengers will also discover remote destinations such as Nuku Hiva in the Marquesas Islands; Praslin in the Seychelles; Antsiranana in Madagascar; Akaroa in New Zealand; and Burnie in Tasmania.
Throughout the journey, the size of the Seabourn Quest allows access to ports and destinations that are often beyond the reach of larger ships, creating a more immersive and authentic travel experience.
During the tour, passengers will have the opportunity to visit more than 25 UNESCO World Heritage sites, including Easter Island, Fiordland National Park, Stone Town in Zanzibar, and the Sacred City of Kandy (Colombo).
Designed to encourage deeper exploration, the itinerary includes 20 extended stays, including eight overnight stops. Overnight stops include:
- Lima, Peru
- Easter Island, Chile
- Bora Bora, French Polynesia
- Bali, Indonesia
- Singapore
- Sydney, Australia
- Zanzibar, Tanzania
- Cape Town, South Africa
Additional extended stays include Cartagena, Auckland, Napier, Melbourne, Portland, Adelaide, Busselton, Fremantle, Colombo, Victoria, Walvis Bay and Las Palmas.
Seabourn Journeys optional programs offer the possibility of extending the adventure with immersive experiences on land, including visits to the Galapagos Islands, Machu Picchu, Uluru, the Taj Mahal, safari destinations in Africa and Easter Island.
Exclusive experiences created for passengers
Designed especially for passengers taking the full Round the World voyage, Seabourn's exclusive shore events and immersive experiences will offer unique opportunities to connect with the cultures, traditions, and communities of the destinations visited throughout the journey.
Among the most anticipated experiences of the trip is a two-day, one-night Seabourn Journey included in Bali, where passengers will enjoy private cultural encounters, authentic gastronomic experiences, village visits, and exclusive access to local traditions that allow them to discover the island's rich heritage and artistic legacy.
In Cape Town, passengers will be invited to an exclusive evening at the renowned Zeitz Museum of Contemporary Art Africa (MOCAA). With private after-hours access, regional cuisine, live entertainment, and sweeping views of Table Mountain, this specially curated event promises an unforgettable celebration of African culture, art, and hospitality, available exclusively to passengers on the Round the World cruise.
The journey extends far beyond the destinations themselves, thanks to experiences created exclusively for World Cruise passengers. Throughout the voyage, the Seabourn Quest will offer destination-focused enrichment programs, guest experts as part of the company's popular Seabourn Conversations program, culinary events and cultural performances, as well as specially curated entertainment inspired by the regions visited.
Passengers will also enjoy the ship's recent dry-dock refurbishment, which includes one of the most comprehensive interior upgrades in Seabourn history, with refurbished suites, enhanced public spaces, updated restaurants, and spa improvements, all designed to elevate comfort and luxury throughout the voyage.
Sailing days offer opportunities for greater engagement, learning, and relaxation, allowing passengers to connect with other travelers while enjoying the intuitive service, welcoming atmosphere, and yacht-like environment that have become hallmarks of the Seabourn experience.
