Royal Caribbean is expanding its Asia-Pacific offerings in 2028 with Voyager of the Seas. From October 2027 to April 2028, the ship will embark on a new season of voyages ranging from 2 to 15 nights, departing from Brisbane and Sydney (Australia), Singapore, and Hong Kong, and visiting destinations in Australia, New Zealand, Southeast Asia, China, Japan, and South Korea. This seasonal rotation of departure ports combines short getaways with longer, more comprehensive Asia-Pacific cruises, coinciding with the Christmas holidays and Chinese New Year celebrations.
These new offerings are part of Royal Caribbean's biggest Asia-Pacific season to date, with Voyager of the Seas launching its itinerary in Brisbane and Sydney before heading north to Singapore and then establishing Hong Kong as its homeport. The ship thus becomes a key component of a connected Asia-Pacific itinerary offering.
The season will also feature Navigator of the Seas, operating year-round from Singapore starting in October 2026; the recently refurbished Ovation of the Seas, sailing from Brisbane; and Anthem of the Seas, departing from Sydney. In addition, Spectrum of the Seas will sail from Shanghai and Hong Kong to destinations in Japan, South Korea, and Vietnam, giving travelers more options than ever before to explore Asia.

More options for exploring Asia aboard the Voyager
Travelers will be able to choose between short breaks and longer adventures across Asia-Pacific, including:
- From October to December 2027, Voyager of the Seas will offer vacations from Brisbane ranging from two to seven nights, including South Pacific itineraries with stops in Mystery Island, Port Vila and Luganville in Vanuatu, and Nouméa in New Caledonia, before making a two-night coastal repositioning itinerary to Sydney.
- Voyager of the Seas voyages from Sydney include a new 10-night holiday itinerary through New Zealand's majestic fjords and iconic landscapes, with stops in Picton, Wellington, Christchurch and Dunedin, plus stunning Milford Sound.
- A five-night getaway will depart from Singapore and visit Ho Chi Minh City (Phuoc An), Vietnam, before arriving in Hong Kong, combining two of Asia's most dynamic cities with time to discover Vietnam's vibrant food culture.
- For Chinese New Year getaways from Hong Kong, four- and five-night itineraries will visit Ishigaki and Okinawa, Japan. Some trips will include an overnight stay in Okinawa, giving travelers more time to enjoy its turquoise waters, local cuisine, and the unique culture of the Ryukyu Islands.
- To discover China and Southeast Asia, the tours from Hong Kong will stop in Taipei (Keelung), Taiwan, where travelers can explore this vibrant city, famous for its night markets and culinary scene. Passengers can also visit Hue/Da Nang (Chan May), Vietnam, the gateway to the ancient imperial heritage, coastal landscapes, and cuisine of the country's interior.
Between destinations, the Voyager of the Seas offers experiences designed for travelers of all ages. Adrenaline junkies can take on the FlowRider surf simulator, plunge down The Perfect Storm water slides, test their skills on the rock climbing wall, or ice skate at Studio B, the ship's ice rink.
Families and friends can test their accuracy on the nine-hole Voyager Dunes mini-golf course or face off in a battle in the dark with Laser Tag: Battle for Planet Z. Younger children will find spaces and activities specially designed for them at Adventure Ocean, while teenagers can create their own memories in the Living Room, a space designed specifically for them.
As for the food, passengers can gather to enjoy family-style Italian dishes at Giovanni's Table, savor freshly prepared cuts of meat at Chops Grille, discover sushi and Japanese-inspired specialties at Izumi, or choose more casual options at Windjammer and Café Promenade.
During each day of sailing, the Voyager of the Seas allows different generations to enjoy their vacations in their own way, from adrenaline-filled experiences and family activities to gastronomy, entertainment, and moments of relaxation.
