As part of Holland America Evolution, Holland America Line is adding new stages next to the Lido pool on the Oosterdam and Zuiderdam, creating dedicated spaces for live music and entertainment in one of the ships' most popular gathering areas. These new additions will expand opportunities for passengers to enjoy live performances throughout their cruise. The first space will debut on the Oosterdam following its transformation as part of the Evolution program, scheduled for autumn 2027.

Complementing Holland America Line's already extensive entertainment offerings, this addition will provide guests with even more opportunities to enjoy performances during their cruise, while also creating a central meeting point for special events and celebrations.

The new venue's programming will feature a wide variety of musical performances, from solo artists to high-energy live bands, as well as events linked to Holland America Line's iconic Orange Party and other passenger favorites. The Lido pool's retractable glass roof will allow guests to enjoy this space throughout their voyage, regardless of the weather.
Holland America Evolution is the largest fleet update in the company's 153-year history and will revitalize six Vista and Signature class ships through a combination of Pinnacle class-inspired experiences, new offerings, and passenger-favorite services.
The company will invest more than $500 million in these ships to improve passenger spaces, incorporate new establishments, and add more cabins and suites, providing a wider range of options for travelers. The Oosterdam and the Zuiderdam are the first two ships included in the program.
In addition to the new poolside settings, passengers traveling aboard the Oosterdam and Zuiderdam after their respective transformations will enjoy numerous upgrades, including the addition of the popular Grand Dutch Café and new cabins and suites.
Taken together, these upgrades are designed to bring some of the company's most beloved experiences to a greater number of ships in the fleet, while creating more space and amenities for passengers.
Bookings are now open for Oosterdam and Zuiderdam following both refurbishments, offering passengers the chance to experience firsthand the new cabins, renovated spaces, and expanded entertainment areas.
