Marella Cruises presents the headliners for its adults-only themed cruise, “Electric Sunsets: 80s vs 90s,” featuring performances by legendary pop star Tiffany, Claire Richards (formerly of STEPS), and Martin Kemp. The cruise, which sets sail in April 2027, promises to be a grand musical showdown between two of music’s most iconic decades.
Singer Tiffany, known for her UK number one hit “I Think We're Alone Now,” will be one of the main attractions of the trip. The artist is also remembered for becoming the youngest woman to reach number one on the Billboard charts with her debut album.
Claire Richards, a member of STEPS, one of the most successful British bands of all time, will also perform on board. Passengers will be able to enjoy some of their greatest hits, such as “Tragedy,” “Stomp,” “Better The Devil You Know,” and “One for Sorrow.”.
Martin Kemp, for his part, will offer a special live DJ set, transporting travelers back to the 80s with Spandau Ballet classics, including “True” and “Gold”.
Now in its sixth year, the Electric Sunsets: 80s vs 90s themed cruise will allow passengers to relive some of the biggest hits of both decades. The entertainment lineup will also include the popular DJ SASH!.
Designed for lovers of 80s and 90s music, this three-night themed cruise, exclusively for adults aboard the Marella Discovery, will take place from Wednesday, April 28 to Saturday, May 1, 2027.
The itinerary will start from Palma de Mallorca, stop in Valencia and Ibiza, and end again in Palma.
