Marella Cruises presents its new campaign "Your next story"

Marella Cruises has launched its new integrated brand campaign, "Your Next Story", which puts real-life moments and the pleasure of retelling them at the heart of its creativity.

Marella Cruises presents its new campaign "Your next story"Aimed at an audience over 40, the campaign breaks with traditional stereotypes and celebrates a curious, adventurous and fully self-aware generation.

The campaign will be broadcast on television, on-demand platforms, in print, on digital media, and on social networks. Developed in collaboration with Leo UK and produced by Brace Productions, it marks a new step in the evolution of Marella Cruises' identity, with its own distinct tone and style. The advertisement is accompanied by the song "Ooh La La" by Faces, which reinforces the nostalgic element, character, and emotional impact of the piece.

The main 40-second spot follows a couple in their forties as they recount their cruise experience to friends. As the conversation unfolds, warm, funny, and intimate scenes appear, presented not as a traditional advertising montage, but as memories that come alive anew each time they are shared.

Shot with vintage lenses, the ad conveys a soft, almost dreamlike atmosphere, reflecting how memories evolve over time and are enriched with each new retelling. The result is a deeply human piece, more akin to a story shared among friends than a conventional advertisement.

Tori McCrindle, senior marketing director at Marella Cruises, explains: “Travel advertising often smooths over life’s imperfections, but Your Next Story does just the opposite. It shows that the best vacations aren’t the perfect ones, but the personal ones; the ones you laugh about when you look back on them later.”

That philosophy is present in the experience offered by Marella Cruises: West End-style shows, an all-inclusive regime as standard, and comprehensive service from beginning to end that allows customers to focus solely on creating memories.

We also wanted to represent an audience that isn't always reflected in advertising: people who aren't slowing down, but feel they still have a lot of life left to live."

The campaign will launch on July 6, 2026, and will be broadcast on major British television channels, including ITV, Channel 4, STV, and Sky.
