Aman at Sea has reached a significant milestone in the development of its first ocean-going yacht, Amangati, after successfully completing its float-out at the T. Mariotti shipyard in Genoa, Italy. This ceremony, one of the most important in shipbuilding, marks the completion of the yacht's exterior structure and its transition from dry dock to the water.
Following centuries-old shipbuilding traditions, this step confirms that the ship's hull is completely finished, sealed, painted, and ready to sail. From now on, Amangati will remain docked at the shipyard's outfitting pier, where over the next few months all its interior spaces will be completed before sea trials, official delivery, and the start of commercial operations.
Among the facilities being finalized are its 47 spacious suites, the Aman Spa —which will be the largest spa in luxury nautical tourism—, four signature restaurants, the exclusive Selora lounge and the private marina located at sea level.

Amangati's inaugural voyage will depart on May 7, 2027 from Palma de Mallorca bound for Nice, kicking off a first season in the Mediterranean with itineraries of between five and eight nights through the Western Mediterranean, the Adriatic, the Ionian Sea and the Aegean.
In addition, the company has announced the opening of bookings for both this inaugural season and the new Caribbean cruises scheduled for the fall of 2027.
Measuring 180 meters in length, with nine decks and a gross tonnage of 23,000 tons, Amangati was designed by SINOT Yacht Architecture & Design and built by T. Mariotti SpA in Genoa. It will sail under the Maltese flag and accommodate only 94 guests, served by a crew of 207, representing an exceptional crew-to-passenger ratio of 2.2.
The 47 suites, all facing the sea, will have a private terrace and floor-to-ceiling windows, as well as a Suite Host, a personal assistant dedicated exclusively to each accommodation.
The culinary offerings will consist of four signature restaurants: Alira, specializing in Mediterranean cuisine; Akari, with Japanese inspiration; Hiori, dedicated to teppanyaki; and Aman Grill. The yacht will also feature numerous social spaces, including The Jazz Club, a Cigar Lounge, the Alira Pool Bar, the Aman Grill bar, the Selora lounge, and a cinema.
One of the highlights will be the Aman Spa, spanning 740 square meters and considered the largest spa in the luxury yachting industry. Its facilities will include eight treatment rooms with sea views, each with a private terrace and jacuzzi, as well as a hammam, banya, gym, yoga studio, meditation deck, beauty salon, and a full-service Medi Spa.
To enjoy the sea, Amangati will have The Marina, located on deck 3, with two floating platforms and a carefully curated selection of water sports equipment, in addition to the Selora coastal lounge.
The yacht will also feature four limousine-type auxiliary boats, two sports boats and two helipads located on decks 6 and 9.
With this important step forward in its construction, Aman at Sea continues preparing for the launch of a proposal that aims to redefine the concept of ultra-luxury cruising, combining Aman's renowned style of hospitality with an exclusive experience at sea.
