Celestyal has presented its first specific program for the Western Mediterranean, with the launch of a new 14-night itinerary that will travel through Spain, Portugal and Morocco.
The program, which will take place aboard the Celestyal Discovery, with a capacity for 1,360 passengers, represents a major milestone for the shipping company and will include 14 inaugural stops in the region.
The new itinerary, "Mediterranean Odyssey: Spain, Portugal and Morocco", will offer overnight stays in Tarragona and Lisbon, extended stays in various ports and visits to lesser-known destinations in the Western Mediterranean.
The cruise will stop in Malaga, with a night departure; Gibraltar; Casablanca (Morocco), also with a night departure; Cadiz; Lisbon, where it will remain docked for one night; Tangier; Valencia; Palma de Mallorca; Sète (France) and Tarragona, where it will end with another night on board.
This itinerary can also be booked in two seven-night versions, sailing between Tarragona and Lisbon or in the opposite direction, with fares starting from 639 euros per person.
New repositioning cruises
The program for the Western Mediterranean will be completed with two eight-night cruises, "Rivieras of the Mediterranean," which will serve as a link between the Eastern and Western Mediterranean.
Departing from Athens, the itinerary will include stops in Kusadasi (Turkey), Messina (Sicily), Naples, Civitavecchia (Rome) —with an extended stay—, Nice (France), and Tarragona, where the ship will remain docked overnight. The return itinerary will follow the reverse route.
Passengers can combine this eight-night cruise with the new Mediterranean Odyssey to create a 22-night trip, or add one of the current four-night "Iconic Greek Islands" itineraries, resulting in a special 26-night cruise.
All fares include all meals on board, a selection of non-alcoholic beverages, Wi-Fi, port taxes and gratuities.

Programming for the winter seasons
During the 2026/2027 winter season, the Celestyal Discovery will depart from its home port in Athens bound for Barcelona on November 28, 2026. It will then make two sailings on the Mediterranean Odyssey itinerary before returning to the Eastern Mediterranean on a repositioning cruise departing on January 2, 2027.
In the winter season 2027/2028, the first repositioning cruise will depart from Athens on November 19, 2027. The ship will make six sailings on the Mediterranean Odyssey itinerary before beginning its return journey from Tarragona on February 19, 2028.
Bookings for the winter 2026/2027 and winter 2027/2028 seasons will be available from July 1, 2026.
Celestyal recently confirmed the extension of its current season in the Eastern Mediterranean, following the cancellation of its planned schedule in the Arabian Gulf for the winter of 2026/2027.
The company will soon announce the Celestyal Journey's operating plans for the 2027/2028 winter season.
