The new program has been designed for golf enthusiasts, PGA professionals, clubs, and specialized groups. The proposal combines itineraries focused on Azamara's signature destinations with Premier Golf's expertise in organizing exclusive trips for golfers.

In addition to accessing some of the best courses in the world, travelers will enjoy themed activities on board and can enhance their experience with optional stays at golf resorts before or after the cruise.

Dondra Ritzenthaler, CEO of Azamara, said: “Golf and travel have always shared a spirit of discovery, and this collaboration unites both passions in a way that fits perfectly with Azamara’s philosophy of exploration.

Working with Premier Golf allows us to offer our guests privileged access to some of the world's most prestigious golf destinations, while enjoying the convenience of our smaller boats, longer stays in port, and a deeper connection with each destination.”

Each cruise will feature a PGA professional and offer a program specifically for golfers, including:

  • Welcome and farewell receptions for participants.
  • Conferences, talks and training sessions on golf.
  • Social gatherings to share the passion for this sport.
  • Carefully arranged on-ground golf experiences.
  • Optional golf resort packages before and after the cruise.

As part of the agreement, travel agencies will receive a 10% commission on the value of golf packages booked by their clients through Premier Golf. Additionally, Azamara and Premier Golf will launch a dedicated module within the Azamara World Academy, offering specialized training, resources, and tools for travel agents to facilitate the marketing of these new themed cruises.

Jason Vallee, Chief Operating Officer of Premier Golf, said: “At Premier Golf, we have always believed that the world’s finest golf experiences deserve much more than just a few hours ashore. In Azamara Cruises, we have found a partner who fully shares that philosophy.”.

Thanks to our extended port calls, our travelers will enjoy a truly immersive experience in destinations we've carefully selected for decades, from the courses of Western Europe to those of Asia and beyond. Our program will take passengers on experiences unlike any other golf trip to date.

For travel agencies that have placed their trust in Premier Golf throughout our history, this alliance represents a new and valuable proposition that we are confident will be very well received by their clients.”
