The arrival of each new ship reflects new ways of understanding travel, and the Seven Seas Prestige, which will enter service in December 2026, seeks to become one of the most exclusive, with a proposal focused on space, privacy and personalization of the luxury experience on board.
The new ship will inaugurate the Prestige Class, a series of four vessels that will shape the company's future for the next decade. Its debut will take place on December 13, 2026, with an inaugural voyage between Barcelona and Miami, a route chosen to officially present the ship on both sides of the Atlantic.
With a gross tonnage of 77,000, a length of 257 meters, and a capacity for only 822 passengers, the Seven Seas Prestige bucks the trend of maximizing passenger capacity. Although it is 40% larger than the Explorer-class ships, its passenger capacity increases by only 10%. The result is clear: more spacious common areas, larger suites, and one of the highest space-per-guest ratios in the industry.
In addition, there is a crew of 630 people, a ratio close to one crew member per passenger, which allows the company to maintain its high standards of service.
The largest suite in cruise history
The interior design was developed by Studio DADO, responsible for some of the most recognizable spaces in the Regent fleet. The project embraces an elegant and contemporary aesthetic inspired by grand European hotels.
The Starlight Atrium will be the central hub, a multi-level space dominated by spectacular twin spiral staircases. Abundant natural light and a spacious feel make this atrium the main meeting point on board.
Around it are arranged some of the ship's most important spaces, such as the Prestige Lounge for shows, the Meridian Lounge, various dining areas, boutiques, and leisure spaces. Also noteworthy is Galileo's Bar, designed as one of the ship's most elegant venues and a nod to the historic Seven Seas Navigator.
However, if there's one space destined to become a symbol of the ship, it's the Skyview Regent Suite, a private residence overlooking the ocean. With 817 square meters spread over two levels, the Skyview Regent Suite will become the largest all-inclusive suite ever built on a cruise ship.
More than just accommodation, it resembles a luxury apartment at sea. It includes spacious living areas, a private dining room, a gym, a sauna, a large dressing room, and a 344-square-meter panoramic terrace located on the bow of the ship.
In addition, there are exclusive services such as a personal butler, daily spa treatments, a private chauffeured vehicle during layovers, and a permanent selection of premium caviar and champagne.
However, the accommodation experience isn't limited to this spectacular suite. The Seven Seas Prestige will feature 12 different categories, all with private balconies, including new duplex suites, loft-style options with double-height ceilings, and spacious penthouses designed for those taking longer voyages.
Gastronomy as one of the great pillars
Dining will continue to be one of Regent's key differentiators. The ship will feature eleven distinct culinary experiences, combining some of the company's most renowned restaurants with new offerings.
The main novelty will be Azure, a restaurant inspired by the flavors of the Eastern Mediterranean and the tradition of sharing dishes, a formula that is increasingly popular in international haute cuisine.
Alongside him will be established names within the fleet such as Compass Rose, Prime 7, Chartreuse, Pacific Rim or Sette Mari at La Veranda.
The culinary program will be complemented by the Culinary Arts Kitchen space, where passengers can participate in practical workshops and activities related to the local gastronomy of the destinations visited.
The beginning of a new stage
The interest generated by the Seven Seas Prestige has been remarkable even before its launch. Regent considers this ship the beginning of a new phase of growth and modernization for its fleet.
Following its inaugural voyage between Barcelona and Miami, the ship will operate a series of itineraries throughout the Caribbean, the Panama Canal, the east coast of North America, and later Europe. All of these will maintain one of the cruise line's hallmarks: included excursions and a destination-centric experience.
Beyond the numbers and dimensions, the Seven Seas Prestige symbolizes the evolution of luxury in the cruise industry. In a market where exclusivity is increasingly measured in terms of space, service, and personalization, Regent Seven Seas Cruises is committed to growth without sacrificing what has historically defined the brand: offering an intimate and meticulously curated experience at sea.
