Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines today unveiled its new cruise program for autumn and winter 2027, designed to help travelers escape the UK's colder months and enjoy winter sunshine, cultural discovery and unforgettable experiences.
The program includes 20 cruises departing between October and December 2027, offering opportunities to see the Northern Lights in northern Norway, explore the rich cultures of Morocco and the Mediterranean, or enjoy festive getaways ranging from Christmas markets to Caribbean island tours.
A dedicated Mediterranean fly-cruise program aboard the Balmoral has also been added, developed in response to strong passenger demand for shorter, destination-focused itineraries. These flight-inclusive cruises reduce sailing days and offer more time to explore iconic and lesser-known destinations in the Greek Islands, Italy, Croatia, and the French and Turkish coasts.
The program also includes four inaugural calls for Fred. Olsen, in the ports of Milazzo, Taranto, and Golfo Aranci (Italy), as well as Alanya (Turkey). Passengers will also have the opportunity to visit ports accessible only to smaller vessels, such as Mahón (Menorca), Propriano (Corsica), Ermoupoli (Syros), and Agios Nikolaos (Crete).

From the UK, passengers can discover the cultural wonders of Morocco or explore some of Europe's most iconic landmarks, from Rome's Colosseum to Gaudí's Sagrada Familia in Barcelona. We've also included a shorter-than-usual cruise to northern Norway in search of the Northern Lights, a five-night Mystery Cruise for those seeking something different, and a longer voyage to enjoy the warm Caribbean during winter.
Our Mediterranean fly-cruises, driven by strong demand, allow passengers to arrive directly at their destination and have more time to explore regions such as the Greek Islands, Italy, Croatia and the French and Turkish coasts, including an itinerary that visits six islands in just ten nights.
And since the program coincides with the holiday season, travelers will also be able to enjoy the magic of Christmas, from traditional Christmas markets to celebrating these dates in the Caribbean.”
