Regent Seven Seas Cruises has unveiled its 2027 Spotlight Voyages collection , a series of themed cruises designed to offer more specialized experiences focused on travelers' interests. The highlight will be the launch of the first cruise dedicated to wellness and longevity, developed in collaboration with the cosmetics and wellness brand ELEMIS , which will take place aboard the new Seven Seas Prestige .
The company has scheduled a total of seven themed itineraries for 2027, covering diverse areas such as wine, gastronomy, genealogy, and wellness. The voyages will take place on various ships in the fleet, including the Seven Seas Voyager, the Seven Seas Grandeur, the Seven Seas Splendor , and the new Seven Seas Prestige, which is scheduled to enter service at the end of 2026.
As Wesley D'Silva explained , these itineraries respond to a growing trend among luxury travelers, who seek to combine the discovery of destinations with experiences related to their hobbies and personal interests.
Regent's first wellness cruise
The most innovative proposal in the collection will be the Spotlight on Wellness & Longevity with ELEMIS, a ten-night trip through the Mediterranean that will depart from Trieste on August 21, 2027, bound for Barcelona .
The program will focus on four main areas: nutrition, mental health and stress management, skincare and healthy aging, and physical activity. Passengers will be able to participate in sessions led by specialists, BeMoved movement classes, mindfulness activities, and culinary experiences inspired by the so-called "Blue Zones," regions of the world known for the high life expectancy of their inhabitants.
Wine, gastronomy and family heritage
The collection also includes several wine-themed cruises. Among them is a notable itinerary organized in partnership with Foley Family Wines & Spirits, sailing between Rome and Barcelona in March 2027. Additionally, there will be trips in collaboration with Mercante Wine Merchants, Palmaz Vineyards , and Honig Vineyard & Winery, combining tastings, seminars, and meetings with producers.
In the cultural sphere, Regent has renewed its partnership with Ancestry.com to offer a cruise focused on family history research. The voyage, between London and Edinburgh, will allow passengers to access personalized consultations with professional genealogists and conduct research related to their family history.
Foodies, meanwhile, can embark on a Baltic itinerary with food journalist and writer Mark Bittman and producer Kate Bittman. The trip will include talks, live podcast recordings, and cooking demonstrations inspired by the culinary traditions of the destinations visited.
With this new collection, Regent reinforces an increasingly visible trend in the luxury cruise sector: the creation of themed itineraries that allow travelers to delve deeper into their areas of interest while exploring some of the world's most attractive destinations.
