Regent Seven Seas Cruises presents the culinary offerings of the Seven Seas Prestige both on board and on landDesigned by Kathryn Kelly, Executive Chef and Director of Culinary Enrichment for Regent Seven Seas Cruises, this program reflects the company's commitment to culinary excellence, destination immersion, and enriching the guest experience. Through March 2029, 64 culinary classes and 25 Epicurean Explorer excursions will be available, with groups limited to a maximum of 18 participants to ensure a personalized and intimate experience.

“Discovering destinations through gastronomy is an undeniable trend, which is why we have placed a strong emphasis on culinary enrichment aboard the Seven Seas Prestige,” said Wesley D’Silva, president of Regent Seven Seas Cruises. “Our Culinary Arts Kitchen experiences are a must for any food lover and, with small groups, reflect the personalized attention that characterizes our brand.”.

The Culinary Arts Kitchen will feature professional-grade facilities inspired by the world's finest culinary schools. With floor-to-ceiling windows offering ocean views, it will have 18 fully equipped workstations where guests can learn techniques ranging from knife handling to the preparation of sophisticated recipes, always guided by chef instructors personally selected by Kathryn Kelly.

The classes, lasting approximately two hours, will cover different culinary traditions from around the world. Highlights include courses dedicated to Argentine barbecue, paired with South American wines, and gastronomic tours of the Mediterranean diet, exploring recipes from France, Greece, Italy, and Spain.

In addition to onboard activities, passengers can participate in Epicurean Explorer Tours, excursions that offer a deeper dive into local culture through the markets, products, and culinary traditions of each destination. Guided by chef instructors, participants will visit iconic markets, sample regional specialties, and, in some cases, enjoy experiences at Michelin-starred restaurants. Many of these excursions include complementary onboard activities to extend the culinary experience.

The Culinary Arts Kitchen classes and Epicurean Explorer excursions have an additional cost and can be booked before the trip through each guest's online account.

Some of the Culinary Arts Kitchen classes

  • Latin American cuisine. Regent's chefs have traveled throughout Latin America, from Mexico to Patagonia, to discover recipes and ingredients characteristic of this cuisine.
  • Australia Through the Ages. This experience traces Australia's culinary history, from Indigenous peoples and the use of macadamia nuts to the British, Chinese, and European influences that have shaped contemporary Australian fusion cuisine.
  • Journey Across the Mediterranean. A culinary tour of the Mediterranean featuring representative recipes from France, Greece, Israel, Italy, Morocco, Spain, and Turkey. The chefs will share dishes, wines, and cocktails inspired by their personal experiences sailing through this region.
