Konami Gaming, Inc. confirms the full implementation of its SYNKROS® casino management system on a second Carnival Corporation. Following its success on Holland America Line ships, the technology has now been installed on all 29 Carnival Cruise Line vessels.
Thanks to SYNKROS, known internally as SURF (Serving Up Rewards and Fun), Carnival Cruise Line passengers can access personalized rewards, promotions, bonuses, and cashless gaming options at onboard casinos.
Marty Goldman, Senior Vice President of Global Gaming at Carnival Corporation, stated that the company is committed to providing the best possible experience for its guests through quality service, attractive rewards programs, and constant innovation. He explained that the implementation of SURF across the entire Carnival Cruise Line fleet will make the casino experience even more rewarding for millions of passengers.
Guests now have access to new features and benefits on thousands of gaming machines equipped with SYNKROS technology. The system allows for personalized rewards, promotions, and bonuses based on each player's preferences, and also incorporates elements specific to the cruise environment, such as direct integration with the onboard expense account for cashless betting.
Carnival Corporation can also offer new promotional opportunities thanks to SYNKROS' advanced capabilities, including virtual sweepstakes and incentive programs designed to increase player participation.
For his part, Tom Jingoli, president and chief operating officer of Konami Gaming, emphasized that Carnival Corporation continues to innovate in all aspects of the passenger experience. He indicated that this commitment to technology is now reflected in the 40 operating casinos of Carnival Cruise Line and Holland America Line that utilize the SYNKROS system.
