Carnival Cruise Line has announced the completion of new facilities and the expansion of the white sand beach area at RelaxAway, Half Moon Cay, its exclusive Bahamas destination.
Guests can now enjoy complimentary new sun loungers and umbrellas, as well as private cabanas and Balinese beds available by reservation for added comfort. Several dining and beverage venues have also been added or renovated, including Orchid Beach Grill, Hibiscus Beach Grill, Luna Tide Beach Bar, Stay Awhile Beach Shack, and Lil' Tiki Bar, offering a wide variety of island-inspired dishes, full buffets, and refreshing drinks in shaded beachfront settings.
Access to the island has also been improved thanks to the construction of a new pier that allows ships to dock directly and, for the first time, enables visits from Excel-class vessels. In addition, a new tram service connecting the different areas of the island will facilitate travel and improve accessibility for visitors.
Among the new features, the picturesque Papaya Pathway has been inaugurated, a trail designed for those who prefer to explore the island on foot and enjoy its natural landscapes. At the same time, the southern part of the island is being renovated with new design elements and improvements to its restaurants and bars. Visitors will also continue to have a wide range of activities and excursions to choose from.

RelaxAway, Half Moon Cay is part of the Paradise Collection by Carnival, the largest portfolio of exclusive cruise destinations in the Caribbean and the Bahamas. Currently, 22 ships in the Carnival Cruise Line fleet call at RelaxAway, Half Moon Cay, providing access to this destination for passengers embarking from numerous U.S. ports.
