Explora Journeys marked a milestone in its partnership with the Swiss SailGP team by competing, for the first time, under the full Explora Journeys brand during the Bermuda Sailing Grand Prix presented by Apex Group.
The Bermuda event marked the debut of Explora Journeys team's new visual identity on the water, with a fully customized F50 catamaran branded with the team's new look and a revamped crew outfit, unveiled in the middle of the competition.
Inspired by the brand's refined design language and its Ocean State of Mind, the new image incorporates an elegant and premium aesthetic, evoking the Explora Journeys fleet and transferring it to one of the most advanced high-performance competition platforms in the world of sport.
“The unveiling of our new visual identity in Bermuda is a proud moment in our journey with the Swiss SailGP Team,” said Anna Nash, President of Explora Journeys. “This new look is a powerful expression of our shared values, combining the technical excellence of elite competition with Explora Journeys’ purposeful luxury. Even in the heat of competition, our shared commitment to excellence remains performance-driven and rooted in Swiss heritage. We are building a cohesive positioning at the intersection of luxury and sport, united by our values on the water.
Led by Swiss pilot Sébastien Schneiter, the Swiss team delivered a solid and competitive performance, continuing its steady evolution in a championship often described as the Formula 1 of the sea. As one of the youngest teams in the SailGP fleet and among the few to have recorded speeds exceeding 100 km/h, the Explora Journeys Swiss SailGP Team demonstrated continuous technical development, remaining true to its guiding principle: “Defined by the ocean. Driven by precision.”
Bermuda holds special significance for the team, having hosted their first SailGP race three years ago. Returning to these waters symbolizes a new beginning, with Explora Journeys as their main sponsor.
“Seeing the boat sailing for the first time in the full Explora Journeys colors was a truly special moment for all of us,” said Sébastien Schneiter. “It has brought a new energy to the team; there’s a sense of pride, but also a sense of responsibility. We are excited about everything we are building together with our main sponsor, Explora Journeys, and at the same time, we remain very focused on the process, on improving with each race, and on continuing to push our limits.”
As title sponsor, Explora Journeys continues to strengthen its long-term global visibility through SailGP, connecting with international audiences in some of the world’s most iconic coastal destinations. The partnership is now gearing up for the Mubadala New York Sail Grand Prix at the end of May, followed by events in Halifax, Portsmouth, Sassnitz, Valencia, and Saint-Tropez, before the inaugural Rolex Switzerland Sail Grand Prix in Geneva in September 2026.
