Princess Cruises proudly welcomes Star Princess to Seattle, marking her debut and the start of her inaugural Alaskan season. From May 3 to September 13, 2026, this next-generation Sphere-class ship will sail 20 weekly round-trip voyages from Pier 91 through Alaska's iconic Inside Passage.
The arrival day was celebrated with the traditional exchange of maritime plaques between the Port of Seattle and senior Star Princess officers, including Captain Gennaro Arma, Princess Cruises President Gus Antorcha, along with local representatives from the maritime, port operations, labor, and public safety sectors.

Star Princess will sail weekly round-trip voyages from Seattle to Alaska’s Inside Passage, visiting highlights such as Ketchikan, Juneau, Skagway, and Sitka, with stunning views of glaciers like Endicott Arm and Dawes Glacier. In the 2026 and 2027 Alaska seasons, Star Princess will be joined by Royal Princess, which will also sail weekly from Seattle’s Pier 91 to the Inside Passage.
As part of the Star Princess inaugural celebrations, Princess Cruises reaffirms its deep commitment to the Alaskan communities that are central to its history and operations in the region. These contributions reflect the cruise line's ongoing support for communities in Southeast Alaska
- Ketchikan: A $100,000 donation to Joseph T. Craig American Legion Post 3 as part of Princess Cruises' commitment—along with Holland America Line—to help rebuild the state's oldest American Legion post following its destruction by arson, supporting veterans, their families, and the community at large.
- Juneau: Donation of $25,000 to Juneau Flukes to boost whale research and marine conservation.
- Skagway: Donation of $25,000 to the Skagway Childcare Council to expand access to quality childcare services for local families.
- Sitka: Donation of $10,000 to Sitka Trail Works to support the maintenance and conservation of the region's trails.
With 177,800 tons and a capacity for 4,300 passengers, Star Princess stands out for Princess Cruises' renowned service and dedicated crew, as well as offering distinctive restaurants and bars, enhanced entertainment and activities, and luxurious accommodations.

The eight Princess ships sailing in Alaska this season are: Star Princess, Coral Princess, Royal Princess, Ruby Princess, Grand Princess, Emerald Princess, Discovery Princess, and Island Princess.
