MSC Cruises has revealed new details about The Harbour and Aqua Deck on board its new flagship, MSC World Asia, marking a new step in the evolution of its family and outdoor entertainment offering.
Following its successful debut at MSC World America, The Harbour will continue to be an exciting outdoor park where families can enjoy themselves, play and eat from morning till night, becoming the first of its kind in Europe.
The ship will also feature seven swimming pools and 13 jacuzzis, including two new pools in the Aqua Deck district: the Manila Bay outdoor pool and the Coral Cove indoor pool.
From December 4, 2026, MSC World Asia will offer seven-night itineraries to some of the most sought-after destinations in the Mediterranean, including Barcelona, Marseille, Messina, Civitavecchia (Rome), Naples and Valletta.
As the third ship in the World Class series—inspired by the continents and oceans of the world—MSC World Asia will incorporate design elements that reflect the cultural, artistic, and scenic richness of Asia.
The Harbor, completely renovated
Following the ship's theme, the new Harbour will feature an Asian-inspired design, where families, children, and thrill-seekers can gather to eat, play, and soak up the sun in an innovative outdoor park within the Family Adventure area. Passengers of all ages can enjoy activities of varying intensity levels, including:
- Cliffhanger: a spectacular swing-type attraction suspended over the sea at a height of 50 meters, offering breathtaking views while swinging, providing a unique and exciting experience.
- Adventure Trail (rope circuit): a two-level course with more than 5,700 square meters that includes elevated rails similar to zip lines, ideal for testing your balance while enjoying the sea from above.
- The Harbour Aquapark: a water park with thrilling slides, including one with a 90-degree vertical drop, plus water play areas for all ages.
- The Harbour Bar & Bites: a space with food and drinks included, perfect for recharging your energy during the day.
- The Play Deck (new): a relaxed outdoor area designed for children and families, encouraging interaction and shared time.
In addition, the ship will feature The Tree of Life @ The Spiral, the longest dry spiral slide at sea, which spans 11 decks and connects The Harbour to the World Promenade in seconds.
Aqua Deck District: New Design
The Aqua Deck area will offer a versatile environment, with wellness activities in the morning, entertainment during the day, and evening events. This space will include two redesigned pools:
- Manila Bay & Pearl Lagoon Bar: the main outdoor pool, designed for all-day sun enjoyment, with more shaded areas, enhanced amenities, and multiple leisure and dining options.
- Coral Cove & Coral Bar: an indoor pool with a retractable glass roof, ideal for any weather. Inspired by the underwater world, it will feature an elegant design and a large art installation by artist Elisabetta Milan in the shape of a water droplet.
