Unveiled at a particularly exciting time of optimism and transformation for the company, the next ship in the Disney Cruise Line fleet will be called Disney Believe , a name that pays tribute to dreamers and those who dare to pursue their own “ happily ever after ” .
The Disney Believe will be the fourth addition to Disney Cruise Line 's innovative Wish Class , a series that has redefined family vacations at sea . One of the hallmarks of this class is that each ship has its own unique theme , an imaginative concept that shapes the entire guest experience , from live entertainment to spaces and décor .
Like its sister ships — the Disney Wish , inspired by enchantment ; the Disney Treasure , focused on adventure ; and the Disney Destiny , dedicated to heroes and villains — the Disney Believe will have a unique story : a story of promise and possibilities .
With powerful stories of Disney characters who believe in themselves , their dreams , and the promise of a better tomorrow , Disney Believe will come to life through the magical worlds of “ Enchantment ” and “ Frozen , ” the wishing wells of “ Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs , ” as well as the depths of the sea with “ Moana ” and “ The Little Mermaid , ” like never before.
Disney also noted that Disney Experiences is currently experiencing greater growth than at any other time in the company 's history . As part of this unprecedented expansion , the Disney Believe will join the fleet , reinforcing Disney Cruise Line 's legacy of combining immersive storytelling with cutting - edge technology to create unique vacation experiences , in true Disney style .
The ongoing expansion will bring the fleet to 13 ships by 2031 , including the Disney Adventure , which made its maiden voyage from Singapore on March 10 ; the Disney Believe , scheduled for late 2027 ; the introduction of a new class of ships in 2029 ; and the agreement between Disney and Oriental Land Co. , Ltd. ( OLC ) to bring Disney Cruises to Japan in 2029 .
