The Seven Seas Prestige will inaugurate a new generation of ships for Regent Seven Seas Cruises with larger suites, new accommodation categories and the largest suite ever built on a cruise ship.
At the end of 2026, one of the most anticipated ships in the ultra-luxury cruise segment, the Seven Seas Prestige, the newest vessel from Regent Seven Seas Cruises, will debut. Currently under construction at the Fincantieri shipyards in Marghera (Venice), this ship will inaugurate a new generation within the cruise line's fleet and mark the beginning of the Prestige Class, the first completely new class of ships for the brand in over a decade.
With its entry into service planned for December 2026, the ship aims to raise the bar for luxury at sea with a concept focused on space, privacy, and personalized service. The Seven Seas Prestige will have a gross tonnage of approximately 76,500 and a capacity for around 822-850 passengers, served by more than 600 crew members, resulting in one of the highest space-to-crew-to-passenger ratios in the industry.
The ship's design philosophy stems from a clear premise: to create an experience where space, natural light, and the connection with the sea take center stage. The interiors have been conceived to maximize ocean views and seamlessly blend public and private spaces, featuring grand atriums, panoramic windows, and a décor that combines premium materials, warm tones, and a contemporary aesthetic.

Another of the ship's major innovations is the Grand Loft Suites, inspired by urban lofts. The Horizon Penthouse Suites represent an evolution of the cruise line's classic penthouse suites. In this case, their spacious panoramic balconies, designed as true private terraces open to the ocean, are a particular highlight. Inside, these suites combine a separate living room, a master bedroom, and ample storage, as well as bathrooms finished with high-end materials. As with other Regent superior categories, guests enjoy personal butler service.
The ship's true icon, however, will be the Skyview Regent Suite, a spectacular private residence located at the top of the vessel. With a total area of 817 square meters, this suite is considered the largest ever built on an ultra-luxury cruise ship. It can accommodate up to six guests and is spread over two levels connected by an interior staircase.
The space includes two master bedrooms, several full bathrooms, a large living room, a private dining room for up to twelve guests, and a glass-enclosed bar area. Furthermore, the suite boasts amenities rarely seen even in luxury accommodations, such as a private gym and sauna, as well as an enormous wraparound balcony of over 300 square meters.
The experience for guests in this suite is designed to be an exclusive level of service on board the ship. Included amenities are a personal butler, daily spa treatments, personal training, unlimited laundry, and a chauffeured car and guide in every port.
The price reflects this level of exclusivity. It is estimated that the suite can reach around €22,500 per night, a figure that places it among the most exclusive in the entire global tourism sector.
Public Spaces and Gastronomy
Beyond the suites, the Seven Seas Prestige will incorporate a series of public spaces designed to reinforce the feeling of elegance and spaciousness. At the center of the ship will be the Starlight Atrium, a large vertical space dominated by double staircases and gilded decorative elements that will connect several decks.
Among the most notable spaces will be Galileo's Bar, overlooking the main atrium, and the Meridian Lounge, designed as a refined space for social gatherings and live music. It will also feature the Constellation Theater, intended for shows and performances.
The culinary offerings will include seven specialty restaurants, a typical number on Regent ships, with a diverse range of cuisines. Highlights include Compass Rose, the brand's flagship restaurant; Prime 7,specializing in steaks; Sette Mari at La Veranda, featuring Italian cuisine; and Azure, a new restaurant inspired by Mediterranean gastronomy.
As with the rest of the company's fleet, the experience will be completely all-inclusive, with premium drinks, shore excursions, gourmet dining and gratuities included in the cruise price.
Itineraries and First Routes
Although the ship is still under construction, the Seven Seas Prestige is already open for bookings and has several itineraries scheduled for its inaugural season.
The first planned voyage will be a 14-night transatlantic crossing from Barcelona to Miami, departing on December 13, 2026. This itinerary will mark the ship's official debut and connect Europe with the Caribbean, one of the most important regions for the luxury cruise market. Following this inaugural voyage, the ship will be based in the Caribbean to offer several itineraries during the winter. These include an 11-night cruise from Miami with stops in destinations such as Progreso, Roatán, and Falmouth, as well as other itineraries in the Eastern Caribbean.
Starting in January 2027, the ship will expand its sailing range with longer routes, such as a 15-night itinerary from Miami to Los Angeles that passes through the Panama Canal, combining stops in the Caribbean and on the Pacific coast of Central America and Mexico.
