The TUI Elara will offer itineraries along European waterways starting in the summer of 2027

TUI River Cruises will add its fifth ship to its European fleet starting in the summer of 2027. The TUI Elara, which means “bright” in Greek, will offer five, seven and fourteen night itineraries on European waterways with departures from Frankfurt (Germany), Amsterdam (Netherlands) and Basel (Switzerland).
The adults-only ship will offer a total of 15 itineraries, including five new cruises on the Rhine, the Moselle, and the Dutch and Belgian waterways. These include the "Great Rhine Delights," "Rhine Delights," and "Dutch and Belgian Jewels" itineraries departing from Amsterdam; the "Rhine Delights 2" itinerary from Basel; and the "Rhin and Moselle Splendor" itinerary from Frankfurt. The TUI Elara will also be the first TUI River Cruises ship to sail to Brussels, Belgium.
Passengers will be able to admire the historic Reichsburg Cochem on TUI's "Splendor of the Rhine and the Moselle" itinerary, which sails through the Moselle Valley in Germany.
“As we begin our fifth year of sailing, we are delighted to further expand our fleet with the arrival of the TUI Elara to European waterways,” said Katy Berzins, Director of TUI River Cruises. The demand for more immersive and enriching travel experiences continues to grow, and TUI River Cruises is focused on providing customers with the freedom and flexibility to explore multiple rivers and destinations their way. Our strong performance, high customer satisfaction rates, and increasing occupancy demonstrate the strength of our position in the river cruise market as we continue to modernize and expand our fleet.
